The way to pronounce the dreaded nasal “nga” sound is try pronouncing words with “ng” as the last letters like sing, thing, bring, etc. Then add “a” or “ah” sound at end. Ex. singah, thingah, bringah. Then after a few try, remove the si, thi, bri and retain the ngah. Practice it with Filipino words like ngayon (today), ngunit (but), ngiti (smile), ngipin (teeth). Hope this helps. 😅
The amount of garlic these recipes require make my soul happy, lol. Also, give it a couple years and I'm convinced that you two could have your own travel food show. I'm speaking it into existence, gotta stay positive!

Can't believe you finished one whole crispy pata between the two of you hahaha! Seeing you devour the whole pata made me salivate... ang sarap, kain tayo!!!
The sound alone just made my mouth watery. It will go with sangria. Lettuce wraps with julienne carrots, avocado, tomatoes, zucchine or any veggies you like. Wrap in lettuce and dip in sweet vinegar. Also use Mang Tomas spicy sauce for dipping your meat.
Hi, sweet Jonny and Chloe!! But my goodness, I didn't know you were a Dinosaur wrangler!! That dinner looks absolutely fabulous. You guys always knock me out with the quality of your work. Great job! 🤗🤗
There's a German dish called Schweinshaxe served in Beer Halls, Bars/Pubs, restaurants for drinking with beer. Boiled pork hocks then roasted to a crisp.
my Filipino friends recommended me to follow your channel. So wow, oh wow... All your videos are amazingly awesome! Now I'm your new fan from Philippines!
Hi new subscriber here. I'm amazed because out of so so many RU-vidrs/Vloggers/Food Eaters I've watched, you're just the first channel that cooks Filipino food. So amazing. But only one thing though. We Filipinos eat food with rice all the time. Just hoped you did even just 1 serving each. 😁😊
Guys love your videos......both of you are great .......cooking, eating and even just the conversation .......both of you are natural .....keep it up.......from NJ ...........love to see your reaction ...... If you have time to see the choice by Jollibee.........
ive seen many reaction videos before but you guys just look so effortless and quite honestly refreshing. johnny doesnt hide the mistakes he makes, chloe just gives off this girl next door aura, no make up ,no fancy clothes , just two people having fun cooking and eating in their home. keep it up guys. btw crispy pata and red horse is the perfect combo hands down.
I am your "pata" Chloe said....hahahaha! Good one. Deep fry the pata after the bake (surprised), I've never done that usually I just go full bake until crispy. Must try this.
Hi johny and chloe im food scientist from ph, im so glad that you make videos like this, filipinos loves to see people from different countries try our dishes, just a suggestion, why not create traditional adobo but not only 1 adobo but assorted one, coz in philippines in different places have their own way of cooking adobo, like in southern part adobo has coconut cream due to theyre producers of coconut so their adobo has coconut cream mix with it (adobo sa gata), laguna province also has adobo that has turmeric mix with it called adobo sa dilaw , in our province cavite our adobo has mashed pork liver mix with it (adobong tagalog), in batangas they have Achuete seeds (extracted in oil), adobo with pineapple, adobong puti (white adobo) and many more 😁

Good job, Johny! MAG - luluto - will be cooking (very near future) MAG - luto - infinitive verb (I want to cook. - Gusto ko’ng magluto). NAG - luto - past tense NAG - luluto - present progressive. Way to go, Johny!

The usual way is boil the pata with a tbsp of salt, then after drying (in your case, putting it inside the oven to brown it)brushing it with fish sauce (patis) and let stand for a time before frying. You may try it next time just to see or taste the difference. But you already did great, Chloe... it made me crave!
Nice work guys! Ang sarap pakinggan yung pagka-lutong ng balat ng pata. Panalo siya mga lods! Suggestion add a little (1/2 teaspoon) sesame oil in your sawsawan for crispy pata.
if you have an event or b-day or handaan! you can boiled the pata ahead before the day! and place it in ref! in the next day you can fry it! god bless you beautiful couple!
Have you heard about LECHON PAKSIW?maybe you want to try it next time around.LECHON KAWALI AND BAGNET are really good too.by the way,the scrap of the meat can be used as toppings for the FRIED RICE.Mamg Tomas lechon sauce is also good for dipping.
