hearing the words “my son” come out of Danny’s mouth just makes me so happy, I’m so glad they’re all doing well, and I’m so proud of Danny for how far he’s come. Congrats Man!!!
As a preschool teacher, Sylvester McMonkey McBean is the name drop I have been waiting YEARS for. Thank you, Danny, for making all my dreams eventually come to fruition.
as a library worker i relate to this too much! im waiting for the day someone asks me for kids book recs cause shelving picture books is half my job (theyre the most checked out genre by far)
funny story. i actually met danny the other day. i tried to say hi to him, but he immediately started to spew shady guru advice and would not stop. eventually he imploded with riches and tik tok clips.
I'm imagine Danny Meeting a fan, and just roast them on how poor they are and how to be as rich as him while money is literally exploding from his body like a trail in a video game. But the money disappears before touching the ground because Danny is actually an ai robot here to remove all of the commentary creators and the gurus
Bro I remember that- I was on the side lines. After that he jumped in his Bugatti Tesla and tried to run you over. I'm so sorry that happened to you, plz reach out if you need a witness for your insurance claim 😞💔
watching Danny become more and more of a dad creator is so cute, referencing kid's books and the way he's so aware of his kid, like when he started crying. my heart can't handle it
I think the joke that made me laugh the most was when Danny said “my son started crying in the other room, I don’t think he’s gonna give me 100 dollars”
@ahceaserr The prophecies of Danny's Reddit foretold the missing posters.... he has been gone with a child, untrue gregs have no understanding of the situation at hand....
Danny youre not shaming people for trying to make money for their families. Youre calling out the people who are trying to take advantage of those people and make money off of them.
@aarondavis8943 it's difficult I think. I follow Jonna Jinton and she's mostly on RU-vid but she recently complained that there's a HUGE Tiktok account stealing her content and it went viral too. She tried to do something (and she's not small, at least not on RU-vid). She got really frustrated, only when she reached out to another RU-vid with a bigger Tiktok following, who got her in touch with someone at Tiktok something changed. Jonna got verified and they finally took the copycat down. I also think her fans reported the account after her video so that probably helped but just that there is this insane theft industry shows that they maybe don't really care.
I was so confused why Danny would discuss Dr. Seuss books & then realised: "oh of course he'd read children books, he can read towards a kid... cuz he has a kid"
I really love that danny has already been reading to his baby. my parents started reading to me when my mom was still pregnant with me. I turn 18 in less than two weeks, and my dad reading to me is still a huge comfort for me and can put me to sleep in like 20 minutes. I feel like a lot of people don’t start reading to their kids until theyre toddlers, but toddlers who haven’t been read to usually don’t have the patience to sit and listen. it’s just such a nice thing to start reading to your baby right away
As someone who has had a baby, pregnant women get SO much advice to read to their babies (even when they’re still in the womb). Every public library I’m my state has baby areas where parents are encouraged to sit and read with their kids of any age. It’s definitely common practice 😊
I've been reading to both my babies (one is still chillin in the womb lol) essentially since I found out I was pregnant, both for their development and to keep me in the habit lol
exactly!! and from the very second you start reading to your baby (after they're born of course lmao), the child begins to associate sounds/words to pictures way before they gain the ability to read. It also just helps expand their vocabulary as books will often use many words in succession that wouldn't come up as much in everyday conversation. I wish more parents did this.
As a Dad myself, when you started yelling "Where's my hundred dollars?!" My thoughts went to "Oh no, gonna wake the babay" then to "oh its cool that he gets the house to himself to make his videos" and then the realization that, yes the babay did get woken up... Also, children books slap. Start reading Fox in Sox now, so then when it becomes a challenge your child brings to you, you can rip through that shit faster than Eminem on Rap God.
it’s so funny you bought up dr seuss because approximately 10 seconds before you said “this is like the sneetches” I (not a parent, haven’t read a dr seuss book in years if not decades) thought “oh this is just like the sneetches” so needless to say, I’m prepared and excited for the children’s book references
Any time Danny talks about his kid I get discombobulated lmao my brain goes “huh?? He’s like 15 and got a kid???!?” But then I remember, he is actually older than me 😂 can’t wait for Danny and his kid going outside in a couple of decades and people thinking Danny is the son 💀
@@spontaneouslycombusted7664His son actually is thousands of years old because as we all know Danny is an unaging immortal being. The Big Bang was actually Danny being birthed, and the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs was Danny birthing his son. One can only dread the day Danny’s first grandchild is born. His family tree will just be a list of major historic events.
@@foxbuns Many of my family members were holocaust victims. I make a lot of holocaust jokes, some of it to help me cope because of how many I've lost. Even just learning about it in school made me feel sad, I have a very small family and lost many people. Sorry if it ruined the joke for you, I've been doing a project on it in school and I guess it's been getting to me more than I'd like.
Danny is being so nice in this video, but this is actually disgusting. I don't understand how RU-vidrs who make actual criticism content or good reviews of movies have to take their content down, but these people are actual thieves and they can make this much money.
Ikr. The mind-numbing sludge content was just annoying before watching this video. Somehow, it didn’t occur to me that people make money off of it, but why else would anybody make these videos? Cant even open OBS and play a video game to create their own footage, let alone make something interesting, or with passion behind it, or even remotely fun to watch. And they’re literally everywhere! Even reaction streamers add their own thoughts occasionally! Something about people making thousands off of “content” like this makes me want to throw my smartphone away and move to the middle of the woods.
I think its kinda like Folding Ideas video on the mikkelson twins; this scam of reposting videos is common and well known, but by acting like theyre selling the idea of it they can get clicks being controversial and giving out "advice".
I really like to watch music reviews, theory and analysis but due to the way youtube works they can't just play the song normally without being demonitized
16:14 20 years later, Danny's son finds this video, goes to Danny and gives him a 100 $ . Very wholesome. Of course, considering inflation, 20 years from now, the 100 $ will only be worth like... iunno, 40 $, but hey... it's the thoght that counts.
Imagine seeing your tiktok in a Danny Gonzalez video and expecting to be made fun of just for him to call you the Sylvester McMonkey McBean of your time. Truly inspiring.
@@Sapphichearts maybe where u r I am also from the states and went to elementary school in the 2000s but I feel like reading a dr Seuss book abt racism is possibly the most ironic thing ever. I went to a predominantly POC school so maybe they were more, like aware. If ur curious as to why he made multiple racist propaganda art against Japanese people, possibly other groups as well but Ik for sure the Japanese
@@elle6449 I'm from an Oregon suburb so that's probably why. Until the mid 1920s black people weren't allowed to live here, in the state not my neighborhood.
@@Sapphichearts ya I’m from the inner city in the north so it’s like 2 completely different countries… well fun fact dr Seuss was actually rly racist and put slurs in multiple pieces of his work!
12:00 the guy who tells you to eat healthy has tattoos. Tattoos which are inks, industrial chemicals that he had injected into his skin. Often having heavy metals in them. Smart!
i for one can't wait to see more little hints about how fatherhood has effected danny. one day he might be making jokes about pureed carrots in little glass jars.
The nutrition guy really said "first thing you gotta do is have enough money to afford organic food only and more expensive kitchen equipment. Second step: you are now jo longer poor because you can afford expensive food."
13:42 Filo here, just to add context to this. It's a sad reality in our culture that we crave to be acknowledged by other cultures (most especially by western culture). This is also why whenever someone famous or if someone who has even 1% Filipino heritage goes viral or become famous you'll see comments such as "Pinoy pride 🇵🇭" or the likes. This is also the reason why there's a number of non-Filipino RU-vidrs who would constantly post reacting to anything related to Filipino culture because they know it will do well because when we see anything even if it's just the bare minimum appreciation (even if it's not genuine) for our culture we put those people on a pedestal (especially if they are white). This is also why the beauty standard in our country is very much Eurocentric (e.g. fair skin, high-bridged nose etc).
this is actually so true (as a filipino), i naturally get giddy and excited whenever i see filipinos get any smidge of recognition. it’s just natural idk but that is really interesting how people have caught on to it and started using it to their advantage. ik danny said it as a joke but i genuinely think if he titled one of his videos with anything related to filos me and a lot of other people would probably click on it.
woah we act the same way with our country!! Not gonna name it but it’s portrayed in a very negative light in media. We are under the impression that most people hate us, so whenever there’s someone who says anything remotely positive about us we get so ecstatic! I never thought about it from the creator’s perspective…Very interesting!
My brother realized in 6th grade he could make really good muffins and that kids would buy them. So he’d make a bunch of muffins over the weekend with my mom and sell them for like a $1 and he nearly got suspended. He coulda been a true muffin guru man. It was actually pretty traumatizing for him he still gets genuinely angry when i call him the muffin man and he’s nearly 40.
At my school I think they said because it was technically competition with the lunch room and also the person selling food doesn't have a license to sell food amd it wasn't approved by the school board.
hhbomber guy’s recent video on plagiarism really opened my eyes on how many internet “creators” are fully just in it for the money, not making content from a creative point of view but rather a marketing one and this video reminded me of that (with the “views/money as a goal” guy especially)
Thanks for shedding some light on this subject for anyone who remains blissfully unaware of how bad things have gotten! How long are we going to ignore the ACTUAL plummeting value of money? It isn't representative of the amount of physical work done anymore, or the observed effect, so it must be representative of the effect achieved over time... luckily for anyone making money that way, you're spared the full knowledge of your own effect because you can never see the end of it, and all the money you earn feels "too good to be true". If you have no concrete knowledge of the effect of your own work, because it's invisible to you and always in motion, you don't have enough information to know what you are worth. Even if you have a lot of money, well, as demonstrated in the video, even money's worth can be easily debated now. Its worth is, like EVERYTHING else known to physics, relative. It doesn't have a constant worth because literally any amount of work could've been done to acquire it, depending on the person who holds it. So what does it even mean anymore? I guess it'll mean as much as its next transfer: $10 could be 10 stocking stuffers from the dollar store for your 3 year old, a couple of knick knacks from Five Below plus tax, the first meal your family has had together in weeks, or the first meal your family has eaten today. The amount of work done for that $10 could have been anything, even a kid's learned lesson to charge more money before mowing her neighbor's lawn in the sweltering heat. Money's not worthless, THAT'S what allows for confusion, and then it must be worth only what happens in the transfer of it from one person to another. As those people define the work and effect achieved, they define what the money is worth. Cut out the middle man, and then whatever happens between people without the function of money has knowable and observable worth, and people can hopefully start to understand with more certainty what they're made of and what they're worth. Perhaps there's a new definition of "work" to be supported by us, and maybe just some awareness of code's definition of work and the "nature" of async function declaration and promise chains could help us see more clearly how the world ~works~ now.
So happy so many of my fav creators are talking about content theft/plagarism- hbomberguy, jacksfilms, and now danny. Hope real change can come of it but we need the content host institutions to step up!
I would literally cry my eyes out if i ever got to meet danny sometimem he is all that me and my dad watch and he has brought me and my father closer than ever thank you danny!
Be careful, one time i met Danny, and while he may seen charming and irresistible with his little wrists, he is NOT what he seems. At first i just said hey yo, dan. How is your day going? He said fine my young gentleman, and at this point, i really thought the meeting was young well. But at that very moment i realized that Danny wasn't a normal sized influencer after all, he was a tricksy little guru who measured at least 17 cubits in length alone. I barely escaped with my life, not to mention the other ones he took from me. Try to stay clear of Danny if you can. Not safe
So funny you mentioned The Sneetches! I currently have an untold amount of stars upon my own belly, after my 5 year old chased me down last night and assaulted me with her star stamper. That book takes up a good amount of space in my head, rent free, for whatever reason.
one interesting philipino fact is that danny has forgotten about being goofier and sillier on the side channel, and he doesn't drink sparkling water anymore
