this is simply amazing!! I know there are some difficulties with it but...just the thought of being able to make you own stamps is AWESOME!! Thanks soooooo much for sharing, Mercy
You should always do a 3-5 second backside exposure to the light before your first cure. This sets a mat for the stamp to build to. Also, a baby soft toothbrush is better for getting the polymer out of the tiny recesses in the stamp during the wash process so that your stamp is crisp and doesn't pick up too much ink.
So cool! The image turned out great and it looks fun! It would be fun to create personalized stamps for yourself or as gifts too!! Hmmm... maybe I need one! LOL TFS Mary! Hugs, Regan
For anyone wanting to make stamps in 2018 or later - I have around 30 videos charting progress over several years, making them without sachets. Look at no 19 first and work through to the latest. Not only do I now get consistent results, but buy the liquid by the Kg.
This is a really cool machine. Thanks for showing how it works. If the stamps are thin enough, you may be able to run them through a Xyron sticker maker that has the permanent adhesive roll in it. Wendy
Happy Birthday Mary! I see you are enjoying your gift from your parents :) This is interesting. Gland I can watch you create a stamp. Hope to get this someday. tyfs hugs, Leonie
@TracysTreasures24 You can design your own stamps! You just have to scan your design into your computer and use the software that comes with the stampmaker. You print your design, using an inkjet printer, onto the stampmaker film and make your stamp! I'm excited to make my own and will do a tutorial on how to do it. Thank you so much for watching! Hugs, Mary >;
@sarah20az Hi Sara :) The back of the stamp once cured is like a transparency and won't adhere to a block. You apply the adhesive to the back and cut as close to the stamp as you can and peel the backing off so the adhesive is on the back of the stamp. I had such a problem peeling the backing off that I just ended up using my Xyron with repositional adhesive and it worked like a charm :) Thanks for watching! Hugs, Mary >;
Thanks for showing this, Mary! I've wondered about this system. Are you going to contact TC about the sticky? I wonder if Aileen's Tacky glue could work? I've used it on stamps for sticking to plexi blocks. ... You are so brave! great tute Roxy
@ccartdesigns The funny thing is when I put it on the right side it was even harder to get the backing off....UGH! I just ended up using my Xyron with the repositional tape and it worked like a charm! Thank you so much for watching! Hugs, Mary >;
Do you know how to create your own polymer packets for when these are no longer available? Does anyone know how to make polymer sheets for making stamps with diecutter?
@scrapaliciousleo In the video I applied the stamp on the brown instead of the white side like your supposed to and it was even worse to get off. I did make sure it was dry.....how frustrating....lol I just ended up using my Xyron with the repositional tape and it worked like a charm :) Thank you so much for watching and trying to help my frustration...lol it's a great product and I highly recommend it! Thanks again Leonie :) Hugs, Mary >;
My kit didnt come with this adhesive you show. But i think I did see somewhere, that it was used for sticking it permanent to a block. Could be why it wouldnt come off yours. I also have the original stamp maker kit by imagepac. In that kit you use a 60watt light bulb to expose the polymer with and they seem to come out better for me than this new light kit. It just takes a little longer with the older kit. I ordered more polymer packs to try again with my new kit, we will see what happens...
@fairylovr33 I ended up using my Xyron with the repositionable adhesive and it worked like a charm :) When I put the adhesive it came with on the white side it was even harder to take off. You can make your own designed stamps with it. You just have to scan your design into the computer and use the software the stampmake came with to print out your negative using an injet printer. On the scale of 1 - 10 I'd say an 8 only because I feel for the price it should come with more accessories. TFW!Mary
hum im confused ive seen the official instructions videos and the girl said u have to flash it for 2 mins on one side, then flip it and flash for 10 mins. you only flash one side for 3 mins .....
Hi i tried making stamps my negatives were black, i placed the imagepac and did everything the instructions said but all that came out was images on a hard rubber no grooves no ridges like stamps have, am i doing something wrong?
hi there! I just saw Teresa's video and I think she used the white side of the adhesive sheet not the mustard coloured one...maybe that will work better? very cool machine I'm def. getting one! tfs eve
You temporarily mount clear rubber stamps to an acrlyic block. You can see where you are stamping and you only need a few clear blocks. Clear stamps store in a more compact space than wood mounted stamps.
Well thats how you learnmany times isnt it? doing something the wrong way. lol. Looks like an awsome product! When I first saw that this was coming out I couldnt wait. I would really like to have this but I want it so I can make my own designs with it. glad to see it picks up detail so well. I am curious, on a scale 1 thru 10, 10 being extrmely happy, how happy are you with it?
You touched the back of your stamp with your hand and killed your adhesive's ability to stick by getting hand oil on it. Always wear powderless nitrile or latex gloves working with stamps or you'll have serious issues.
Ok, here is a guess....is the sticky for mounting on wood blocks? Try the stamp with nothing on the back and see if it sticks to your block all the ones I have ever had have ...... TFS. Sarah
So essentially you just stuck the sticky stuff the wrong way around? So the SUPER sticky part is meant to be stuck to the back of the stamp? lol.....................
I looked online and you are supposed to mount it like wood and leave it on the block? So you don't use that block for other stamps anymore ....... Strange huh?
I think u didn't take enough time to dry the stamp before u tried to use the sticky backing. Also, get the bubbles out..... Otherwise u did a great job. Tu so much!

Ladies, please do not give your email address to men from the middle east. They are very "nice" with a tactic called Taqqiya to get you to be submissive and marry them, then they get citizenship. You've been warned.
Ben Cooley really dude? Because the guy had a question about the device she's using? Perhaps his English isn't great and that's why the comment wasn't worded properly and at first seems sketchy but if you have any common sense you should have figured that out. Stop being a judgmental douche bag. You old folks are what's wrong with the world.
@lkmoz The funny thing is when I put it on the right side it was even harder to get the backing off....UGH! I just ended up using my Xyron with the repositional tape and it worked like a charm! Thank you so much for watching! Hugs, Mary >;
