I just finished watching this movie and honestly was just so lost about the whole point of the movie. Is it literally just highlighting toxic relationships? It was so exhausting to watch, and at many points I just wanted to see them fuck and get over it :')

the movie started with them coming home and we were left seeing them standing outside the bedroom an emphasis of their deep lack of healthy passion & intimacy and we witnessed why.

The movie is about 1 dysfunctional people. Most relationships have a layer of dysfunction. But stick together. He wanted the night about himself only. She was always going to stay They were going to stay TOGETHER. They are still young. This would be great if they filmed this 10 years from now when they are both mature in age and experience on and off the camera

Male or Female a disagreement to me is like someone pounding me in the head with a hammer over and over and over. I can't watch a tv show like this or deal with friends or family who just goes on and on. Why, I won't ever go when invited. I even take family pictures alone.

I think it was a really good movie in terms of acting. But, it was a bit repetitive and drawn out at points. Overall, Zendaya did carry the movie though, no doubt. Also, really good review!! Literally lived for the video! One thing though, is have your whole face in shot, when watching long lasting youtubers they always say they wish they had their whole face in shot from the start of their career. Keep it up though girl i live girl, lived for the vid!!

He told her to audition, so the real question is why didn’t she? Then she blamed it on “‘oh well you didn’t want me to do it anyways” HUH?!!! Girl bye! you wanted him to coddle you like he did when you were on drugs. You wanted this man to hold your hand or push you to do it. That’s why he called you lazy and told you to “pick a room” The person she should really be mad at is herself.

Storming out there would have been immature and would’ve made things worse. Marie held her ground and ultimately won the argument which led him to apologize and feeing regretful. which he would’ve failed to realize if she would’ve been an emotional reck and just stormed outta there over some hurtful things he said. Y’all ladies gotta realize that acting out is not going to do much it’s when the person is mature enough to stay calm and civilized and even take a moment to yourself to gather your thoughts and don’t come at a person crazy and ghetto is when y’all can build a stable relationship. I’m sure that after that night they grew so much as a person and as a relationship and understood each other much better.

This is stupid you support her when she says the movie is based on her, but when he obviously shows that it’s based off many people you don’t care to show it. He literally disproved every point she made except authenticity and being thankful.

I'm sorry but i was turned off by J.D Washington and her. It was forced. It had no believability. There was no reason on earth to give a f. about either of these two people. John David totally lack his dad's natural charisma. He is not a good actor. Who on earth is Zendayah? She looks about 20 in it. These were too many reasons not to bother. I didn't get past the shot of her sittin on the loo. 1 star is generous.
