Hey, great Video. Helped me a lot!! There is just one little trick I wish to add. If you don't want to mess with the glove box or feel like you are ripping it apart, you can just click out the plastic peaces covering the screws. This way you can easily unscrew / screw them 👌
From 30 miles to 45 it's a great increase of speed! I know Malossi, you guys buy a great product made by experienced and competent people who understand engines.
Bonjour, J’ai monté sur un vespa 2020 euro 4 4T primavera 50cc à injection le boitier malossi : 5518250 injtronic euro 4 Et avant il roulait parfaitement et démarré au quart de tour. Après avoir installé le boitier malossi, le scooter reste bloqué à 20km/h et je dois lâcher le gaz pour qu’il avance d’avantage ( ce qui peut être dangereux dans les ronds points) Et à plein gaz le scoot va à la même vitesse qu’avec le boitier d’origine. Je l’ai donc enlever et remis celui d’origine. J’ai réalisé deux programmation consécutive en suivant les consignes ( tourner 3 x la clef on/off) Etc… Et débranché la batterie pour tout réinitialiser pour la deuxième tentatives qui n’a pas abouti.
Robot - great vid as always and I have "hopped up" my little 50th Anno Vesper with your guidance - with ecu and vario transmission upgrades. Now the little bike will do easily 45 mph and down hill I can hardly hang on!! My question - is there an upgrade kit to pop the seat electrically for the Euro Vespa 50?
I am here in Budapest, Hungary (EU) and watching your video now in year 2023 :) it was such a pleasure to listen to you, you really did well and explained this Stage 1 mod. Now I am planning to buy a brand new 2023 Primavera 50cc 4T but I really like to cruise smoothly and not riding fast, just enjoy the ride and journey, but it's really good to keep in mind if 2yrs warranty expired to have this upgrade on my little beloved Primavera. Huh! I have been working in the repair field for quite a while, and I always heard "Torx" pronounced as "Torks." It made saying stuff like "Torx bits" awkward, though-- it always sounded like "Tork Spits." "I need a Tork Spit to open the back of this thing." Right or wrong, I like the way you pronounce it better-- It's Tor-Axe from now on! "I need a Tor-Axe bit to get this open" sounds sorta badass.
Hello! I installed this cdi box. Can't get that first light to flash... so it's not function well. Very lazy uphills... top speed is fine, but it takes for ever to get there... exactly same Vespa as in your video (European version)... is there anything I can try?
Does a 2014 FLY 150 3V use the same OEM CDI as the Primavera ? Is the access to Fly's CDI from front , or also have to take off the front glovebox plastic trim...?
Can you tell me how to reset the CDI to factory settings or how to restart the programming. For me, the engine light for programming no longer flashes when the ignition is switched on.

In the original cdi cm278927 I made a hole of 5 mm to remove the block of rpm but now the vespa don't start i don't ear the buzzz of fuel pump and the starter is dead
Not sure if this tip has been mentioned: The air tube is very hard to get off and on. 30 seconds with a hair dryer or heat gun on low gives it a little expansion and it slips on or off much more easily. But I need a tip. I did the CDI recalibration procedure and it dies at idle. Starts with full throttle, then seems to adjust after 10 seconds and idles, but engine hardly revs until 20 mph, then seems to kick in from 20-25 and tops at maybe 30. Funky and disappointing. Tried recalibrating, no luck. Anyone experience something like this?
@@charkswitlazers I did get the proper one and I forget exactly how much faster but certainly a little. I think the biggest bump is a bit more perceived pep in acceleration rather than a raw top speed boost. I live in a particularly hilly neighborhood also and I found it felt just a little bit more capable to maintain speed on an incline. It's not an incredible upgrade but if you want the most out of that 50cc it is a must.
@@PoolandBilliards what’s your top speed before and after? I’m hearing the 50cc vespas do like 30? I’m hoping it’s more, the Honda metro will go like 42. And what’s your weight and height if you don’t mind me asking? Thanks for your reply.
@@charkswitlazers I'm 6 ft 190, and top speedometer speed went from maybe 41 to 43 maybe 44, just approximating. Certainly a solid 40+. I actually additionally opted to drop the roller weights slightly with a performance variator, tuning it to favor acceleration over top speed. You might push to 45 with the right tuning. I considered mufflers and big bore and whatever, but at that point just get a bigger bike. I also have a Burgman 400, and this little 50 is for simple fun. Do a few things to perk it up but I wouldn't try to make it something it isn't.
Hey, on my iget i bought a malossi ecu aswel, My vespa starts with it and can run 55km/h. But the engine warning light won't go off!! (The ECU got TPS'ed on another scooter first though, I bought it of a friend). How can I fix it so the orange engine warning light goes of?
We don't really carry any performance items for that model. Check with malossi or polini as there are likely parts available in Europe. Thanks for watching!
Guys my Vespa has a problem. It’s a primavera 50 from 2013 If I don't pull the throttle and release it, the engine just dies. I sometimes have to pull on the gas to start the engine. I changed the carburetor. Same problem. Can u help? Please! The mechanics here are sooo so horrible.
I have a Liberty 50 I-Get 3V 2018, I installed a Malossi variator with 5.3g rollers and my top speed is (45mph) 72km/h on gps (85km/h on speedo) but it’s a bit long before arriving at this speed!!! If I install the Malossi INJTRONIC, will I have a performance gain? By the way, why in Europe when they install the INJTRONIC the scooter reaches only 60km/h?
Hi, I have Also Piaggio Liberty 50cc 4t iget 2017, but mine goes 45 km/h. Many says that malossi Variator does not work very good due to electicaal blocking/speed limiter. But it worked for you with only Malossi variator?

This is only for the current model with fuel injection, hence being able to electronically control it. The 2018 50cc is still carbureted. There are other performance items available for those scooters from Malossi etc. Thanks for watching!
Hallo robot Ich habe vespa sprint Model 2019 50 4t 3v hat super geklappt. Heute wollte ich auch bei einem Freund, er hat primavera 50 4t 3v Model 2018. Ich habe alles gemacht wie im vedeo , schwarze gummi rohr habe ich gewechselt. alles hat geklappt bis ich fahren wollte zum testen ,denn ist der vespa ausgeschaltet ich weiß es nicht warum?????? Dann wollte ich den alten original ecu zurück bauen , ist immer denn gleichen Problem, der Motor startet nicht. Ich brauche hilfe. Prozedur die ich gemacht habe sind die selben wie in der vidéo. 3 x an und aus hat super geklappt. Gas geben dann 3 x an und aus. Auch geklappt. Motor Anzeige ist aus, super. 15 min starten, hat super geklappt. 5 x an und aus + 15 Sekunden warten. Super geklappt. Dann vespa starten ,super geklappt. Verkleidung zurück, dann vespa starten, super geklappt, ich wollte fahren für ein test, Gas gegeben dann geht den vespa aus. Warum??????? Mit den alten ecu von vespa (eingebaut), auch den vespa startet nicht. Habe ich Fehler gemacht???? Ich brauche HILFE. Vielen Dank
