He should do a video on his game against Napoli. He got a red card for " Agitation on the pitch" then clapped at the referee with a wink . Went and sat in the stands getting a standing ovation and then climbed the fence like an athlete outside the pitch to give instructions to his players 😂😂😂 Then he posted the footage on Instagram writing " When you don't have tickets for a game but you would do anything to see it"
Man United would get relegated tomorrow if they appoint Gareth Southgate as their new coach tonight. Period. He's doing a brilliant job in the England National team but he should just stick to that for the time being. Him entering the lion's den that is the Premier League would be like a lamb to the slaughter.
He can get the most out of Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw but I don't think he'll give up on the England team. The man is making progress there he should stay and try to achieve something
I've always wondered why Conte and Mourinho can't stand one another. Because they are very very very much alike as managers. As crazy as it sounds though, out of these two Jose seems friendlier. Antonio has that strong mafia vibe.
@@JoseFranco9 He doesn't seem to value that all that much. Normally clubs hire him to win the league. Like, Chelsea and Inter certainly did. His only long termish project was Juventus, and there I would say he performed in the CL above expectations.
If Fergie actually did say fuck it and decided to take them over again, I'd be more worried about that than I would about them getting any other manager
@@bernhardsonn8996 fergie admitted when he left that he was a dinosaur, and that his time was up. Appointing him shows that we’ll never be able to leave our past behind us and it will be our downfall
Unlike some other managers, Fergie understood the "quit while you're ahead" proverb. His tactics wouldn't work today and United doesn't have anywhere near the personnel quality in defense or midfield that he had in his most successful years.
The problem is the board & the owners. They prefer a yes man than a strong manager, one they can control & won’t create a ruckus. I remember an interview with Van Gaal after he was sacked, his first choice transfer targets were all rejected & Woodward bought players he didn’t want or need.
If it's true then hiring Conte would be a repeat to his final season at Chelsea. Dressing room gonna be imploded and they'll lose 4-0 to Bournemouth next season
I cant see past Conte or Zidane to be honest. You'll need a high profile manager to pull all those over inflated egos at United into line. Only these two fit the bill. If united get one of these two then I can see them challenging (properly) next season, and definitely winning something in a cup competition.
Expectation: Glazer's out, Luis Enrique or Zidane in, get the treble next year Reality: 7 YEAR CONTRACT FOR OLE GUNNAR SOLKSJAER FOUND IN ED WOODWARDS SHAT. OLE TO SIGN IMMENENTLY
If Sir Alex actually decided to appoint himself as the next manager, for some reason I would be more worried about all the spoiled brats and prima donnas on man utd's squad *cough pogba cough* than I would be about Fergie
I think he would give pogba the hairdryer treatment, in other words wait till he is taking a ice bath, and connect a hairdryer to a socket and throw it in.
In my eyes Erik Ten Hag would be perfect and if Utd got him in then we'd see some of the best Attacking Football from Utd in Years and we'd also get to see Donny Van De Beek finally reach his full potential at Old Trafford 🤩
@@Atyen7a true but he said it would take something spectacular for him to leave Ajax right now and though Utd are a mess at the moment the proposition of coaching that Sqaud would be tempting to any Manager!
@@aufa7770 how is Man Utd in a mess, ole Gunnar solskjaer is the reason and yes we have Woodward, glazers etc but there has been a restructure and a new dof ,that’s why they haven’t pulled the plug on ole yet as they want the right man to succeed him , thus he is given time But any manager would be envious of this squad
I would say Conte is a good bet. He can be a good pick for a year or 2, but he not for much longer than that. He is great, but he seems to not stick around for more than 2 seasons with teams. That pick would be just enough time to win with Ronaldo
As long as the board agree with his style of football, support vision & buy him the player he needs, Conte will stay for a long time... The reason why he quit after a year or two is because the board don't support him anymore
Irish Guy when Mourinho gets demolished by Norwegian team named after a password: "plz gib second chance" Irish Guy when Potter's small team is in Prem Top 5: "HIPSTERS REEEEEEEE"
That fiver could've fed a family in Taiwan... -1000000 social credit points Also Taiwan is a well off country lmao, just default to African or smth that's what most say
you can't really judge Ole's time as manager for United on just Liverpool loss ... he has fixed some crucial issues that Jose left United with, taking a broken down team and getting top 4 twice, getting further and further in competitions like From Quarter Finals - Semis, and then finals in last season... the development of Greenwood wouldn't have happen this great if it wasn't for Ole ... so everything plays a part when it comes to being a manager. do losses suck ... duuuh yes they do, but is it only on Ole hell no it's on the whole team
Oles not the right person for the job. Simple as. Hes reached his level. The big wins we have had hes relied on individual brilliance or luck. He doesnt have a clue on winning trophies.
@@safcjoe7062 Yes, he will leave after Qatar... if England wins the World Cup. If they don't, then he won't be going for years (and let's be honest, there is more chance of losing than winning based on the chance of luck and odds). And if he doesn't go anywhere, then we will endlessly hear him that that he is planning to leave and then suddenly stay after "negotiations". As Gary Neville said a couple of years ago "he understands the politics of the FA and it isn't easy". He has become the most influential manager, if not the most influential person in the history of the FA and England football (even if few recognise that) and there is no way he is going to leave that for a while, he is completely relishing in it.
@@carlybishop6160 I guess yeah but I don't think he wants to outstay his welcome. Hence why I think he could leave whether we win or not(just my opinion tho). I hope he finds a way to play forward and becomes better at in game management considering how much better we played in the euros compared to the world cup.
@@safcjoe7062 The conservative approach is based on 2 things: 1 - Data analysis and how teams who win tournaments concede the least goals. 2 - A safety blanket. You concede a goal your head drops. He has spent a long time preparing the team for 1-0 down and is probably shown well by they have only been behind in a game for about a total of 30 minutes over a period of about 2 years. But more than that 1 goal down and you return to that old England we used to know. He won't go anywhere as if he did, it will go against everything he has every believed in. His book is called "Anything Is Possible. He brave, be kind and follow your dreams" and is all about facing setbacks and facing it again. And look at the last year of comments you can sum it up easily. Such as how it is clear the aim even 8 years ago was to win the World Cup in 2022 but as he said: "You always seem to get what you want in life but it always seems to come 5 years later than you originally expected it". Yes, I agree if he became unpopular and got death threats he won't but I don't see that happening. Yes, he will have his critics and usually they are most likely those most vocal on social media, but again he knows that and doesn't care. He does what he thinks is best and even said 2 weeks ago: "Every time I pick an England squad it, I commit a crime". I think if you take it black and white as what you see from most media (minus 'The Athletic', a few journalists at The Guardian and Sam Wallace at The Telegraph) then it may seem that way. However, once you get past the fact that this "accidental Manager who just happened to fall into the job when England had a good pool of talent" is not the true story, then you start to see it all in a very different light. (It is pity I can't link the video I put together on this topic as I recognise that this sounds somewhat of a conspiracy theory until you understand the history)
@@carlybishop6160 so what you're getting at, is he's done a good job? And yeah everyone has an opinion about team selections, I honestly don't care who he picks. I just think in game when sterling or mount or having a bad game or look tired they should be brought off- he's got his favourites no doubt about it. I seen someone else make a comment about the safety blanket and how we got over the loss of a semi final within 3 years by winning the denmark game. So maybe next time we get to a final(hopefully Qatar) it'll be our time. I think he has done a good job the football isn't fantastic but it's a result business so it is what it is.
The only one who is worthy of replacing Ole, and the only one who should be even considered replacing Ole, is Eddie Howe. Ole is good, but united are still finishing top 4 with him every year, for real results, they should employ Eddie Howe. Reckon he'd take united on a good europa conference run
We tried short term with Jose and it didn’t work even though his team was shit, but with Zidane there is more of a future and he wanted most of our players or has coached them already
Had to be zidane, big name mananger who can control big egos, I think if you get conte, there will be success, but its very short term and will be a more successful Mourinho, but I see more in this team with Zidane at the helm
i've heard some rumors that sir alex ferguson said he has the most suitable coach candidate if manchester united sacks ole in the near future..i have no idea who he mean....
I still think that Hasenhuttl is a better manager than ole, I’m not saying he should be at Man Utd but if there weren’t any other options I would take him. But I’m still hoping that Zidane comes in, that would be my no 1 option.
