The Irish Guy creates a squad of the worst transfer downgrades this summer, including the likes of Memphis Depay replacing Lionel Messi and Edin Dzeko replacing Romelu Lukaku.
Scotland and the Czech republic, ah yes the true elite of modern football. I'm sorry but if two games being smashed by Spain and losing to England is enough to count as experience at an elite level then the football world has completely lost its mind. Player who've spent 2 years in top leagues are often viewed as inexperienced nvm after two games
@@elcactusdelamuerte506 He's 19. He's a starter for his NT, it doesn't matter who he played against, it's still elite football. Of course he made mistakes but he was solid overall and had the kind of hustle that only the best of the best have. Czech got to the quarter finals. The almighty England couldn't score against Scotland. Not everyone has the possibility to be a starter in Champions League games, like Fati and Bellingham had. But Gvardiol has played in Europa League. Not the best competition but his team still managed to beat Tottenham.
@@Jorge_Caldeira okay so where does any of that disprove my point he hasn’t had a few seasons experience at an elite level? Not saying he’s a bad player just he’s had no real experience
At this point, I'm pretty sure the Irish guy is doing everything he can to upset not only the fans of english teams, but the football fans all around the world! Oh, and I'm loving every moment of it!!!
I mean him saying that a player ain’t as good as another is ok (his opinion at the end of the day and that’s fine), but I have an issue when we doesn’t even put effort on his research when it comes to players outside the UK
Donnaruma is now an Italian hero but before the Euro 2020 tournament you called him overrated and a mid-table goalkeeper. I'm scared you rating him is gonna be his downfall now
I don't know what others see in Depay that I'm not. The guy is overweight, slow, lacks end product and just has people starstruck when he pulls off a roulette every now and then. And he is somehow meant to replace the greatest footballer who's ever lived. What a joke of a football club Barcelona are.
@@the_one_the_only4651 he was never meant to be a messi replacement, he was a new recruitement but unfortunately messi left. Also u've never seen Memphis play based on what u just said, just wait and watch him perform
@@the_one_the_only4651 slow? Fat? Mate hes quick and his attitude is better now hes grown up cus he likes to make music in his spar time doesnt mean he doesn't try his hardest in football hes having fun away from 1 passion with another
@@mysteryman3963 Anyone from Germany can correct me if I am wrong, but I think it is basically the German version of the French name "Luis". The name Luis was so popular in the past that the French had at least 19 of those.
this video shows the irish guy knows absolutely nothing about football. the inter signings are quite poor but its the best they can do in their financial situation. rb leipzigs entire foundation is built on buying young players and developing them into great players. does this man only watch newcastle games
Josko was starting for Croatia at the Euros and knocked Spurs out of the Europa league with Zagreb. He's gonna be better than Upemecano was for Leipzig.
Imagine thinking Andersen replacing 35 year old Cahill is a downgrade 😂😂 your meant to be a football page researching football, clearly don’t watch outside the top 4
Idk what he is getting at with Dumfries. He’s gonna prove to be a good investment for Inter Milan, he’s been one of the most consistent right backs in all of Europe and he will thrive in Serie A.
Since jose mourinho admitted he watches Conor Moore videos and loved them I wonder if he watches the Irish guy. Just imagine his reaction if he learned that his idol watches his videos 😂😂😂
An apology for saying he's a good player but probably not on par with a 100 million pound superstar? Plus Leon has scored at most 9 league goals in a season goal scoring isn't his main purpoes
No chance of 15 goals. 15 assists isn’t a bad shout though. Tbh saying Bailey is a swap for Grealish is a little unfair imo. The Villa chairman himself said that Bailey + Ings + Buendia is the actual swap (and still got change out of the 100m) I’d argue that’s an upgrade.
@@syn_tekken3055 grealish scored 6 league goals last season, the way your going on you’d think grealish did what Kane did, winning the golden boot and playmaker award.
@@syn_tekken3055 I'm Jamaican bro I think I think Leon Bailey could do it I have faith in them you didn't see his debut he's the reason why they came back into the game for a short time
1:57 Karol Swiderwski, the striker of my the fav team, PAOK, was one of the members of the Polish squad in the Euros. I know you are going to say Poland did nothing at the euros, BUT, there are so many Polish players that are in the same or better level than him and he was called up!

@@christianopulinaldo8319 Portugal is the only team he is consistent for and he usually concedes some ridiculous goals against bigger teams sometimes. I'm not saying he is horrible, of course not, he's a top goalkeeper, but Jose Sa is at most a minor downgrade.
Jahanbakhsh is back and scoring in Eridivise from the get go. Other than the defending level of the league, I feel that the defensive duties Potter put on him probably dimmed his light at Brighton

@@srirammurali1374 Ok then I'll stop. I'm not hating on Barcelona or Depay, just giving my opinion, but I still hope he can exceed expectations and prove others wrong. I just don't think he's the right signing for Barcelona

Florian Müller spent last season on loan at SC Freiburg as their starter GK (Flekken) broke his elbow and was out for a year, and Müller performed as one of the best GKs in the Bundesliga at 23 y/o. Brilliant signing for Stuttgart, considering he's one of Germany's best rated young GKs.
"Theres nothing worse than watching your club sell one of their best players in a transfer window, and replace them with a human bag of garbage". Chivas De Guadalajara after we loaned JJ Macias to goddamn Getafe, meanwhile we are stuck with 37 year old Oribe Peralta on the bench, who possesses a scoring accuracy of a blind f***ing pigeon.
Great Video. Also a video idea if you like it, "Last Team to Get relegated in current Season". Basically go over the teams of all the top flight teams and find which one will get relegated if they were part of this seasons PL
I have to disagree on Dumfries. The guy is definitely world class, and he’s a different profile from Hakimi. He could flop (I think not) but to say he’s one of the worst downgrades is insane.
I think Dumphries is a pretty good replacement for Hakimi, some of these are a bit mad like. Anyone is going to be a downgrade from Messi, irishguy loves the low hanging fruit.
Actually Mike Maignan Isn’t as bad replacement for Dollarumma. First Maignan was by stats the best goal keeper in Europe’s top 5 league with most clean sheets. Also As a Milan fan I actually don’t mind the swap because I was tired of Donnarumma with the bs of him always wanting more money and when his contract would end he asked for even more and made Milan sign his brother as well. I prefer Maignan over having the two Donnarumma brothers.
RB Clubs have a very specific type of transfer: under 23 years of age, with big potenial to sell them on in +- 3 years fo big money. They have been doing it for years now - Sadio Mane to Southampton (with a sell-on) for 3x what they paid, Upamecano to Bayern for even more, Timo Werner to Chelsea, etc.etc. Also, Andersen played well at the Euros for Denmark, so his confidence would be decent imo. EDIT: The French Clubs are all skint, aside from PSG, so Ligue 1 Clubs are forced to sell and replace with potential too because there's simply no money.

@@the_one_the_only4651 Strongly agree, I get it he is pretty decent and is the main attacking threat for his National team (Although Weghorst and Dost are clearly the better strikers). But he still is a Man U reject who saved his career playing in France who acts like a rap artist. Clearly lacks the professionalism and was overhyped since his PSV days
Man just pissed any danish Brøndby fan by saying BOTH Joachim Andersen and Anthony Jung is bad signings, and you now that you're gonna be wrong about sooo many of these as well, I mean, COME OOON!
2:23 I hate to say it but as an avid follower of the bundesliga I have to say Muller was as much impressive if not more than Kobel last season for Freiburg. Irish doesn't know anything outside of the prem and championship.
As someone with multiple friends who are Inter fans, let me clear up some things 1) The owners are broke af and the fans hate them, there’s even rumours of them selling the club soon 2) Most of the Inter fan base is actually optimistic about signing Dumfries, he’s no Hakimi but the consensus is that he’s promising 3) No one expects Džeko to pull Lukaku numbers, but they’re hoping that he’ll bring his experience to elevate some of the younger strikers in the team
I think he is absolutely spot on with Jose Sa. Apart from not being internationally capped, he was not even part of Portugal's Euro squad!!! Wolves buying players just because they are Portuguese(Ruben Semedo, Goncalo Guedes, etc.) is absolutely ridiculous!!!
Jose sa has proven that he is a top goalie against top teams. Vs Tottenham in 2018 when he moura scored a banger outside of the box and kane scored with a header. In that game he saved around 7-10 shots. Against Bayern in 2019-20, Bayern won 3-2 in injury time with jose sa saving 9 shots. Not only has he proved he is worthy of a 8 million price tag but also worthy of playing at premier League.
Inter actually HAD to sell Hakimi to raise money. Yes, selling him and Lukaku was careless but unfortunately, them staying with us was never going to work long term.
Bertrand's legs have gone, that is why we let him go, he just couldn't get up and down the pitch like we needed him to. Perraud was basically the best performing left back in France last year.
Wolves had an offer for a 33 years old goalkeeper, Rui Patricio. If they turned the offer from Roma down, then Rui Patricio would remain other 3 -4 years in the club and then retire. If they had the chance to gain some money with this sell, that's a Win situation. We don't know how well Sa will perform. Let's wait and see
So you haven't watched the Bundesliga last season, Florian Müller was great for Freiburg, whose Gk got injured and Müller came in on loan and saved Freiburgs season
Gvardiol looked like the best player on that Croatian side at the Euros, and he’s played several Europa league games against more challenging sides like Villarreal, and with the exception of the final 19 minutes of the Scotland game he played the entirety of the Croatian Euro campaign, Simakan doesn’t look as good of a signing but give Gvardiol a month or 2 and it will be clear that he isn’t a downgrade for Leipzig
