I agree with your sentiments. No one will ever replace Freddie Mercury, but I'm so happy Marc Martel is here to pay tribute to his legacy.

Marc Martel is who they used for Freddie's vocals in Bohemian Rhapsody. Well they used a mix of Freddie's actual vocals and Marc's.

This is my favorite reaction to Marc because you truly understand the beauty of his voice and talent and were able to put it into words. He is truly incredible and it is great that you have such a vast appreciation for his talent :)

Its like Marc's soul is linked to Freddie. Thats why he is able to capture the essence of Freddie so well.

You my friend are bang on. I am a little older than you but we are old school. We do listen to the music but the important things are the lyrics and the emotion the song conveys....real emotion. I wish we could go back in time but it isn't gonna happen. Then along comes Marc, a fellow Canadian. History does indeed repeat itself. And if so I found the fountain of my youth..lol.

Every weekend growing up, my parents would have records playing all day. I literally grew up listening to Freddie's voice. He died when i was 11, and i was still too young to know about any of the things surrounding his life..and his death...but i was certainly old enough to realize something beautiful had been taken from us..from me. Seeing these videos, and hearing Marc sing reminds me of those feelings, and i genuinely enjoy every one. I love that it seems to universally unite the masses. Possibly the only thing any of us can agree on these days is that this man is fantastic, and a wonderful reminder of Queen and Freddie...

Being a huge Queen/Freddie Mercury fan myself, my jaw dropped to the floor as well after hearing Marc Martel perform with Queen Extravaganza. He does have an amazing voice! Also, I just wanted to let you know that you need to do more covers as well. Your voice is quite soothing! 😊

I've posted this on other reaction videos so people can consider talking points about Marc's performance. Chime in as I'm sure other performers have so much more with which to weigh in here. What people have to remember is that in order to refine and stick this performance, Martel would have had the awesome opportunity to hear multiple instances of Freddie's raw studio tracked performances for this undertaking-- a phenomenal job, to say the least! It's not easy to hear, say 5 or 6 (possibly a boat load more), well-done tracks by a great singer and then put together an amalgam of the parts you're going to emulate in a single track for a very demanding fan audience from concerts, videos, and now film! Well done, Mr. Martel! How many people have heard every single take of this song that Freddie did prior to performing it? How many times had he sung this in his concerts? Marc has to work with a vocal amalgam of every known performance he could reference in order to create his own vocal composite of multiples from Freddie.

Not only Marc Martel sounds a lot like the great Freddie Mercury, but also he resembles him by features slightly. Adam Lambert who? The Queen chose who? Oh no!
