Facts his game took a hit bc the main reason why PG was amazing before the injury was that he had elite athleticism and finishing ability, while also handling the ball really well, shooting well from 3 and the midrange, great defender. Since his injury, his athleticism and finishing ability was diminished significantly, yes he's still a good finisher now, but he was elite before. Now, he has to rely more on his jumpshot abilities which isn't the player he was before.

Two things can be true. Paul George can be the reason y they r winning but also take blame for losses. U can’t miss 2 straight FTs to seal a game. That game 2 loss no matter how good he played in that game 2 is on him because they should not have lost. He chocked

PG really suffered one of the worst injuries in history and came back stronger. The difference with Paul George when compared to other stars is that the man not only gets criticized but he gets mocked. All the greats hear criticism but PG has been turned into a laughingstock and that is the difference. Not saying he doesn't deserve the critics but he is too godd too talented and too human to be put in the center of all that mockery...

@@andysvt8 Dame Time is not in reference to "conference finals" its in reference to end of games which you purposefully ignored. Playoff P refers to an entire playoffs (so he put himself under a giant spotlight). Missing game winning FTs and hitting the side of the backboard in Game 6s and 7s will bring criticism and ridicule. Is it really that bad?

As a suns fan I was telling people this the whole series that people are going overboard on PG13. THERE IS NO KAWHI! THERE IS NOBODY TO TAKE PRESSURE OFF PG! sorry but Reggie Jackson is not a big enough threat for teams to seriously game plan around on a nightly basis. PG is the focal point of defenses right now. Now I still think he’s PUSHOFF P but give the man some credit, he has to carry a huge load right now just to keep these guys afloat.

He gets criticized because he brings it upon himself. He gave himself that cringe “playoff p” nickname just to lose to rookie Donovan Mitchell Then get sent home by Dame, and he wasn’t giving Dame his flowers when he called one of the greatest shots of all time “a bad shot” as if Dame doesn’t regularly pull up from 35 ft. Acting as if after going to the Clippers he was telling other players they were going home as if they were going to win it all. Then after saying he was fully healthy and ready to go, made excuses when he started playing horrible. Then after claiming to not go home, he hits the side of the backboard, and had the nerve to place all the blame on Doc and how he used him like he was Ray Allen or JJ Redick as if he wasn’t getting the most drives and iso plays of his career instead of taking responsibility himself. I agree with Acho, imma give PG his flowers when he earns it like he did in game 5, but I ain’t going to act as if the hate he gets isn’t brought upon himself

PG actually deserves the criticism as much as he deserves the praise. The man has been playing below his potential. That's why he gets criticized. If he were to play at the level that fans believe he is capable of, he would be a solid top 5 player in the league. PG needs to play at the level that we all know that he's capable of and all of the criticisms would vanish instantly.

Acho makes great points. But, PG13 is unfairly criticized because when he plays well he isnt praised as equally as he’s critiqued when he doesn’t. Acho’s point on star athletes shouldn’t be graded on a curve & should be viewed on a day to day basis is correct, but inaccurate for players like Paul George.

By Acho's logic, every other superstar should be critisized and made of fun like PG because he said PG has a bad game and puts them in a hole, then wants credit for playing well and digging himself out of the whole. Every superstar has bad games in the playoffs and loses sometimes, that doesn't mean they don't deserve credit for playing well after.

I can’t take anything away from what Paul George has done, but he has to understand that he needs to CONSISTENTLY perform well when it matters most if he wants the criticism to chill. He called himself Playoff P. No one else did. So one good game here and there isn’t enough, he needs to practically takeover a series.

Game 3 isn't PG's fault. It was a trash game by EVERYBODY and he still scored 23 of their 80. He had a shitload of rebounds and assists, and defense to keep them in position. Game 2, without PG's 4th quarter they ain't even in that game. He was the only reason it was close.. that TOO is a fact. Thats the balance Wiley is speaking of.
