Marcia Brady gets Peter a job working at the ice cream parlor -- but he goofs off on the job! #BradyBunch | Now streaming on Paramount+ Where to watch: para.mt/BradyBunch
@@greekreNo it's not; it's the truth. People nowadays want to get paid for doing little to nothing. That's part of the reason why the unemployment rate is so high
@@AmandaYee-yn9dk About the time this episode aired, there was an ice cream place where my family vacationed near Lake Huron. A single-scoop cone was 20 cents; a double-scoop cone was 30 cents; and a triple-scoop cone was 40 cents. You didn't have to worry if an ice cream cone was within your budget.
There are a few places in America that are resonable. But they are far and few. It is crazy what parlors charge for shakes and sundaes. Sadly, Peter deserved to be fired!
My first job was at the Dairy Queen. Being busy depends on the weather. On a day like today and this entire week (it's gonna be hot) we would have people lined up out the doors. On rainy days there was hardly anyone in there. It looked like this place wasn't so busy and it was a nice looking place. Peter was goofing off and deserved to be fired. In fact I think I'd have fired him sooner. Like when he swept the mess under the table and she had to clean it up, I would've told him to take a hike right now!
In this case, Marcia had no choice. Peter was goofing off the entire time. In regards to the bike shop, he was doing more than what the customer had asked him to do, and the original task was taking too long to complete.
@@timothykozlowski2945 Ohhh, heck yeah. He's not doing his job at all. He's just letting time pass by so he can get a paycheck. It doesn't work like that.
Peter seems to make a habit of blowing job opportunities. His job at the bike repair shop with Mr. Martinelli didn't last for very long either. He got fired from that job too.
@@brinsonharris9816 And then he tried to use his Scoop Brady column to say flattering things about Mr. Price in an attempt to get a better grade from him for his failed test.
@darrenmiles-morland8038 oh yeah he did a lot of awful things. Like lying about breaking his mom's vase and letting everyone else take the blame, and the punishment, for it. And letting his one good deed saving a girl from a falling toy shelf go to his head.
To be fair, Marcia had every right to fire Peter. You'd think Peter would've learned his lesson after being fired from his dream job at the bike shop. The point here is, ladies and gentlemen, when you are given a job, you have to prove yourself worthy of that job, and you do that by not only doing that job, but also dedicating your life to it, like Jan would be doing later on in this episode! Yes, it's that simple!
I agree with you there. He goofed around working with Marcia in the ice cream shop. When he worked for Mr Martinelli in the bicycle shop he seemed to know what to do but took too long to get the job done
@@shawnduncan5779Yeah. The bike shop pace didn't fit how he worked. He was also young and didn't seem to grasp the bosses communication about a sense of urgency.
@@loveforeignaccents Not your entire life, or even your whole life during the time you have the job but from the time you punch in until you punch out you need to be working. After you punch out your life is your own until you punch in again.
Peter got fired from the bicycle shop and the ice cream parlor and now he has a job at a pizza place let's see how long that lasts for. He's lazy and is not motivated enough to have a job
@@user-kf8wb2cq4f I don’t believe you are speaking from personal experience, but rather just repeating a tired Boomer slogan to mock young people. I work for a firm that actively recruits young people just out of school and they are extremely bright, motivated, and ambitious.
Isn't This The Episode Of "The Brady Bunch" That They "Pushed The 'Risk'/'Envelope' Of 'Taboo'/'Tabu'" &/And Shown A Game Commode Toilet In The Brady's Home🏡 Bathroom (Until Greg Blocks It From Preifreal/View)?
