We were so broke living in downtown Minneapolis in 2006 but I never smiled more in my life. A song can capture the very essence of a moment in life and place your heart back there so quickly...to the man who just wanted me to love him back the same way he loved me all those moons ago. @@ridesxoxo you are so sweet to ask. I'm not really sure, we had a bad break up followed by that messy second and third try at love before he finally gave up on me and never spoke to me again. He was an opera singer, the sweetest man, and terribly troubled by a rough childhood. The irony is during our breakup he got so mad he threw a coffee drink at the wall in our bathroom and when this album came out the line in this song "the bathrooms still a mess" hit hard, because I left the bathroom a mess thinking 'he is going to clean that when he comes home ' he never came home
