Damn MarineLord with the micro on multiple fronts was making Lucifron look like a bronze league player

Those horse archers weren't trading well for Lucifron for quite a while. It confuses me why he stuck to that composition when he could clearly notice he was losing almost every trade against ML's Knight + Archers. Luci also failed to close down his base because of which those raids were quite annoying. I've seen MarineLord own some of the world's best in SC2. He should never have been underestimated with regard to his micro or macro.

Yeah, all that seems fair, but also I think it's just like Drongo says, Marinelord is just way too all over the place, his ability to effectively b in so many places at once makes him very scary to deal with

he may have been able to adapt, but his problem was that he had much less economy, so he may not have been able to switch. Also, he did not punish the 2nd tc early enough, maybe because of the unit choice. If he went veteran knights or man at arms at the start of castle it probably would have been a different story since you dont have to mass those as much.

btw drongo ive tried the english rush strat twice, its been an easy win both times, im kinda low ranked but i think its pretty damn powerful stuff

I play vs french, i get spearmen and make walls. its a simple yet effective strat. nobody wants to trade knights vs spearmen

@@Verynormaltagname all you need to defend early is walls, spears and archers. If he sends archers you back off to your tc and use ur arches, he knights come u use spears. its a lot of micro, but it works. spears are key however. go english 2nd age get 1 free tc and you win.

@@MilesHoppus sure it becomes a game of who can micro better. But you fight fire with water. So without spearmen you probably wont win that fight vs french knights

@@Isoweb1000 tc can only hold 20 villies, pls any tower that may brought down with rams, i got 1 better and more scummy play against the french, tower their gold, now the ball is on their field, either i delay their knights for a fastish castle, or they just dont know what to do now that they got no knights kek.

HRE is the worst civ right now Buff HRE

At the higher levels of 1v1 the HRE is probably the worst civ, while at lower levels where players aren't as adept in the early game aggression and timings it is a powerful civ. Hard for the devs to meet both of those groups balance points.
