i feel like asking "is it possible" is the wrong question here

Why does this feel like one of the most violent shotguns in a video game? Like goddamn did you see what it did to that goomba?

this is some phenomenal detail for a joke hack. the platforms that bob up and down in the lava actually get pushed down by the shotgun

Here's why i love kaze so much >Makes a video >Puts an intriguing question in the title and thumbnail of said video >uses the facecam to show his handsome upper body. >the suspense is a good thing to keep viewer retention >immidiatly answers the question in the beginning of video. Be like kaze, doesn't care about viewer retention as he knows the his loyal viewers will still watch his video

Love how the shotgun fire and pump sounds are the same ones used in Doom 64 too, like Mario hopped a few PUs into Doom and took the shotgun before hopping back into his own world c:

120 star shotgun speedrun would be an awesome category

- Even individual butterflies can be blown to smitheroons - Shooting the baby penguins ricochets the pellets back, K.Oing Mario - The mirrors outside of Snowman's Land can be shattered - The individual sections of Bowser 3's arena can be shot down

I wish there was more romhacks like this that add or change a core mechanic to the game that just makes it more fun

You can actually beat the game without needing either of the keys, shooting down the upstairs door in the lobby will warp you to the 2nd floor upon entering it. In vanilla SM64 you usually can't do this, since only the key door will trigger the loading zone.

If Mario holding a shotgun to shoot Bowser isn’t enough, then we have another mod where Mario can roam around in _GTA: San Andreas._ This is SMG4 level of credibility right there.

Okay, that's actually great. I make Mario 64 Bloopers, and one of my antagonists uses guns sometimes, so now I can make him decide to say screw you to evil plans just this once and start blowing up everything in the castle.

I bet Shigeru Miyamoto is laughing his butt off at this mod. It wouldn't be the first time it happened to a creation of his (the boys at Rare famously gave Donkey Kong a shotgun during the development of Donkey Kong 64 and they didn't realize until Miyamoto was invited in for review of progress in the game's development that it probably wasn't something he would approve of. However, instead of being upset, Miyamoto laughed at the absurdity of the idea and was inspired to sketch out the coconut gun for Donkey Kong, recommending it as a workable compromise for Rare's idea for that game, which is how we still got the various nut guns and Monkey Smash in that game).

This was really fun, I'd love to see more gameplay commentary type content :)

Nintendo should give one of the Mariocharacters a gun in a mainline game, doesn't matter if it ends up coming with a levelmap and morality-missions(People who know know).

Finally can kill Mad Piano like the player's guide promised... had to wait from 1996 until 2023... they said it wasn't easy... this was so high effort for the concept I love it.
