Mark and Sophie were probably the worst things to happen to each other in their lives.

God it’s videos like these that make you realise how sharp of a decline it was for Sophie

I like the dvd extra "Sophie's Peep Show". Gives us a bigger insight to Sophie's inner monologue, and how the writers saw her, not just how we see her. She is borderline sociopathic, and everything she does is very planned, extremely narcissistic, manipulative and overall selfish. But yet she often (until the drinking and drugs) comes off as a fairly nice and well put together girl. But it's mostly just an act, atleast to an extent, and much like Mark and Jeremy, she's just a horrible person for the most part. This is a pretty good parallel to Mark, who despite being a bit of a coward, if you removed his inner dialogue from the show, in alot of cases you'd almost feel bad for him. It's listening to his thoughts that gives us insight into how truly spineless he is, and how selfish and manipulative he can be. Jeremy is arguably the opposite to this trend that Mark and Sophie share. Often his behaviour is much worse than his thoughts, and he usually isn't too sure why he does the things he does, and constantly questions himself for his behaviours. Not always, he definitely does still have some pretty selfish and jackass thoughts, quite alot, but I'd say Jeremy's inmer dialogue often makes him seem like less of a complete irredeemable asshole, and more of a lost child. But if you was to just see him and his actions, without knowing his thoughts, he'd seem like an entirely irredeemable wast of human flesh. This show is so well written, and is much deeper than it seems on a surface level. I love it so much

One of the most frustrating things about this show is Mark's inability to set boundaries and speak up for himself.

Between 1995-2005 the world experienced the best comedies ever. It was the most surreal, free, creative and insane writing. One can not help but feeling nostalgic.

This show taught me one thing. No matter how lonely you are, don't just settle in with someone you don't really fully like, because "It will be less lonley". It's not worth it past the first few weeks. You just end up bickering and quietly hating each other.

Watching peep show for the first time is as good as life gets. I envy people who are yet to discover it. Life is just second rate now.

Its weird seeing them out of chronological order: she's telling Mark she hates him and he ruined her life, then we see her confused about his odd behaviour at work, then we see her giving out her number to him without knowing better.

Mark disappeared for a while at his wedding, but ended up going through with it. Right afterwards Sofia jilts him, but somehow everyone at work blames the jilting at Mark. I always found it hilarious how he got almost all the blame after (besides from Johnson)

Wondering where most of the fans of this show are spread? I live in Wisconsin,usa. Some buddies of mine turned me onto this show as i found myself temporarily homeless and couch surfed a.bit. I could easily appreciate Super hans and Jeremys adventurism with Marks somewhat predictable consistency for stability at times.
