“It wasn’t that Markeith Loyd lost control that night,” Ridgway said. "It’s that he lost control of Sade Dixon. She wasn’t going to do what he wanted her to do - accept his lifestyle, accept his rules.”
Loyd demonstrated (on numerous occasions) that he is a great danger to law enforcement and the public at large. He has no redeeming qualities useful to society.
“You are the rockstar of our profession” I’m sorry what? He stomped around that courtroom like a toddler knowing there was zero chance of winning this case. The disrespect to the judge, prosecutor’s, witnesses and even jurors was absolutely mind blowing. Yes everybody deserves a defense, with that said, a defense attorney does not have to disrespect everybody in the quart room to make that defense happen! Just a little reminder his own client complained about his strategy and closing argument…. Rockstar 😤
How can you truly love your family while you kill and hurt others. Markeith lectured his granddaughter about the consequences of her actions yet his life was scarred by his actions of killing and hurting other people and blaming them.
@@javableu9457 " he made his mistakes"" 😳 He kill people!!! 2 gun's empty by someane without a wapen? 8 bullets in a pregnant women? Then other times 4 bullets to someone who already severely wounded on the ground?? He has no regrets because he is always right. Are you related to him?
Chief John Mina posthumously promoted Master Sgt. Debra Clayton to the rank of Lieutenant. When he announced the promotion at her funeral service on January 14, 2017, Chief Mina said: “Today, because of Debra’s life’s work - to help our youth and make this a better place to live - I am posthumously promoting Master Sergeant Debra Clayton to the rank of Lieutenant.”
That officer as well as her fellow officer that was also brutally murdered deserved the highest promotions. It blows my mind a jury did not have the morals to sentence him to death. Im not sure what the penalty was for the killings of the 2 officers.
@@missadams1330 I am not sure what the verdict was on those cases but I would not be surprised if the jury let him walk. We are living in a sick disgraceful society! May God have mercy on all of us!
The treatment this defendant received from more than 20 (an estimate after seeing the footage) policemen makes the "innocent until proven guilty" mantra absolute malarkey. Yes he murdered but for people who swear to uphold the law, protect and serve, for them to beat this man to such an extent that he loses his eye?? That goes beyond the pale imo. For citizens and politicians and judicial systems to do nothing to rein in this kind of behaviour just condones and allows it to continue. It becomes the acceptable norm. And before you all lambast me for my opinion, what if you're next, or your sons, your fathers, a family member? Who's to say when the goalposts will be moved to include people of all races? Condonation = acceptance = the new normal.
Renee Lane We really don’t know exactly what actually took place after he had barricaded himself at that home. I doubt he actually listened to the commands being given as was evident with his prior confrontations with LE, and now we have a seasoned police officer dead because of his actions. Remember, as far as LE was concerned, this guy was armed and dangerous and had already disposed of a pregnant girlfriend and the one mentioned above. I don’t know where you’d been but police don’t take kindly when one of their own is gunned down. This guy was lucky to be alive, usually manhunts end up with the one being hunted down in a body bag. I’m not condoning police brutality and as I stated earlier, we just don’t have all of the facts to make a rational decision once way or another.
Renee Lane I agree 💯. We even teach our kids that two wrongs never make a right. I don't agree when taking nobody's life, but how can we tell the young people to respect authority when they pull stunts like this.
@@alvaroakatico9188 police are not to take the law into their own hands. Aerial footage showed him crawl out to the officers and following commands. Somehow they had to rush off before the beating!!
I think that Markeith's. Lawyer did a wonderful job in defending Markeith! If ever there was a case of "police brutality ", the video shows it! I hope that during his next trial, for the death of the female police officer, Markeith's lawyer brings forth that police brutality on Markeith!
This man loved his family. His attorney was great! I only pray that he receives the help he needs. He took care of his entire family at the expense of his life, and he did it because he loved them, and I believe he wanted his baby. It doesn't justify what he did, but out the gate he was selfless, and had the ability love. I pray for both families.
The crazy thing is that the girlfriend played her life in his hand when she went to go get her gun to let him know she had it and it made him mad and angry at some point I wish it could have turned out different my God keep blessing both family
Neva Kendrick period the best him when he didn’t resist smdh and the video proves it. Your right no justice they can do what they want and the state backs them.. 🐷’s
He shot 8 times in the body of a pregnant young Sade, without a wapen, mother of 2 joung children, dead. He shot Sade Brother, joung man without a wapen, almost dead. He shot 4 times Debra Clayton, young mother and wife, polite, dead. Is that really bad that he was beaten upon arrest? Tegen you just crazy as M.Loyd.
@@GLila-wd7hh Showed he was on his stomach while they were beating him and he lost an eye. Pathetic!!! They didn't beat him because he shot and killed his girlfriend and baby. They beat him up over the cop he killed. Yes killing someone is wrong. If he hadn't killed a cop, I doubt they would've beaten him.
@@NCGirl-fs2ww You do not know. ML had a protection thing. He wanted to shoot at them. Look at the film when he was in prison and his daughter and mother came to visit him. These people are ruthless people without conscience. And laugh at Sade and police. Look it up. I not want to meet them.
Another SJW. I love how you concentrate on this evil demon but haven't mentioned the three victims. Go protest and burn down a city, that seems the intelligent things you idiots do.
¿How you know that, that them cops had no right to beat that fool? You see how hard headed he is in court i can image what kind of ass he is in them streets
It's not even close to the same thing. She killed a man, not a woman and unborn child and shot her brother and tried to shoot the other brother and the mother.
He shot 8 times in the body of a pregnant young Sade, mother of 2 joung children, dead. He shot Sade Brother , joung man without a wapen, almost dead. He shot 4 times Debra Clayton mother and wife, police, dead. When police chased him, other police man killed in road accidents. By MLoyd are three families affected Sade Dixon Debra Clayton Norman Lewis
@@genetteseverin97 Look, both of them committed murdered. Guyger was a cop. Her ass shot two people. One is lucky to be alive even though Guyger shot him under questionable circumstances. Less that 18 months later, she took her weapon and murdered Jean. She received 10 years for that and will be out in 5 or less. Bitch should have received 55 to life. You see, you get emotional because a unborn baby died. Bitches out her killing unborn children everyday by choice even after delivery and without the father's consent, so don't play that bullshit. My point is that crocodile-tears shedding Guyger played the law and we all got cheated.
I support that attorney ,he sees no colour ,he represent the truth ,sorry that there is loss of life ,but the attorney has done extremly good work if not best.I do not support a human killing another human ,please excuse my choice of wording. I am Sam,from Africa.
He had a rough childhood growing up. Then at 22 yrs. Of age he did 12 yrs. In prison to save his sister from going to prison and keep her house because his friend had drugs in the house. I believe his mind was warped more from doing all that time at a young age. He didn't trust people. I'm just saying.
He actually did 17 yrs. He was on trial at 22 yrs old, he was then arrested on drug charges in the courtroom during the trial. He got 4 1/2 yrs and then a federal sentence of 12 1/2 years for the drug case. That young girl should've left him on Facebook and never pulled a gun on someone who spent that much time in prison and was already violent with her! Sad case
This is why they call these narcissists malicious manipulators masters manipulators because they have the skill of fooling people even on you tube...and you really believe the many lies this man has made up in his sick mind and convinced you smh ... I know ppl that have done 13 yrs in prison and had a bad childhood but they didn't kill ppl maybe if it was your daughter and unborn grandchild or your mom ...perhaps you would feel differently
Always an excuse of a "rough childhood". I've known kids in much worse circumstances & they didn't resort to behavior like this. Stop making excuses for every reprobate that ends up doing violent & unnecessary acts. He killed a woman/child & he killed a police officer.
This lawyer is pathetic... period! He seemed more concerned about his client being well deserved beat down than his clients rampage of cold blooded murder ...
He shot eight times in the body of a pregnant Young woman, mother of two young children, death. He shot Sade brother, young man without a weapon, almost dead. He shot 4 times, Debra Clayton, young police woman, mother and wife, dead. You vidt certainly very good Is that really bad that he was beaten upon arrest? Then you just crazy as M.Loyd
He shot n killed an officer!? He shot that officer multiple times n then got closer to her and pointed the gun at her, on the ground already wounded and shot to kill! You say these cops shld take it easy on him and just trust him bcuz he was on his stomach?
@Kathy Wedzik did u not watch this video before u commented that? He clearly surrendered and followed commands and they beat his face in. Police are not the courts!
Police are supposed to be elite and not fall to emotional misbehavior . At arrest this man did not fight he was already in the ground cuffed and police were kickin his face instead of doing their job. They were so incited by him killing a police officer if he stopped at his gf and baby they wouldn’t have been so vexed to act like animals
Neva Kendrick What a shame you seem to miss the point! Markeith, was still due a fair trial in the U.S! No matter what he did, the police had no right to beat him with a rifle and put his eye out!
This man was never alright ... he was a person without help or meds. for a person with mental problems a person with no help or treatment for mental illness.. is liked to a pot of coffee filled to the brim ...at one time when you least expect it ...it will spill over and explode
His girlfriend was not innocent. She was provoking & threatening him. His story makes sense. I believe this man is telling the truth. God bless the world.
Oh shush it. Take the gun away no longer a threat. Leave. No longer a threat. Her trying to get away from him. No longer a threat. That man is not telling the truth.
He defended him on small insignificant points lol, the way he ran away doesn't matter he shot two people and when her mother and brother came to the door he shot at them.. Ron didn't shot at Markeith he didn't even have a gun.. This guy trying to beat a first degree murder, Ron tried to de-escalate the situation. I heard the whole trial. He tried to kill Ron too, he stood over Ron and shot him three more times. The attorney asked how did the concrete get shot out if he wasn't standing over him?
I believe hes just had a rough life, If given the chance he would be a very good person. Yes he need some help, Yes he has some issues. No he should not have killed the police officer no he should not have killed his girlfriend. But it is very clear that he needs help. This attorney is very good and recognizes. They didn't have to beat that man. Arrest him, and let the court's do their jobs. Just look at the George Floyd case. This is not good. Thank you for your work Attorney,.
Great job Mr. Lenamon....this had to be a very taxing trial. 😏Thank you Sad sad times we all are living in. Too many people place too much trust and belief in this government. And still don't see what and where all this corruption and brutality is doing to all of us. Civil rights are for ALL of us. Stomp on one, stomps on everyone.
That guy had a very hard difficult life he went down the wrong path Clearly he needs help, And long before now. He got life for killing a officer. Both families lose, Prayers to both families🙏
The system never been Fair And I argree Justice system really got picks on who's gonna be dealt with and not right where only human and look at how well, He no police officer and the way that He was . Beat and He really should be able to persue that matters this Man lock up from a young man and you no that He Done find out who gets away with lie's and Rong doing Crimes the one's who with guns that they carry on Thier side.
His attorney said Markeith loved his family and his grand daughter…. Tf outta here…. Markeith is a master manipulator who killed his unborn child/ex girl and a cop trying to do her job!
