Hearing his voice & his breathing while testifying just breaks my heart, he tried to calm down the situation & did everything he could to protect his sister & her baby. I pray for healing in this family.

Thank god he made it this was a toxic relationship and this girl gave away her life my opinion on the whole matter is i felt this man was hurt cause she was using him he loved her and I think that child was not his and he wanted to find out the truth she cause this on herself ..I would not have been out there with him in the first place as she said he held 2 guns to her head and she still stayed there arguing sad situations

I get what the juror was trying to say. She got hired at public’s but never started. They placed her job on hold so she could do jury duty. As for the domestic violence charge. That charge was suppose to be expunged because she was a minor so she had no reason to bring that up. Because it was suppose to be off her record. So in reality she didn’t lie

Thank God this young man’s life was spared. He lived to testify against Markeith. I’m very proud of him. It’s very brave the way he kept his composure but at the same time he stood up for his sister. It almost cost him his life.
Kim Crocker I think he was just trying his best to diffuse. He didn’t know how volatile Markeith was. He never thought it would have gone that far. He was raised in a totally different environment. You have street smarts and then you have book smarts. You need a lil both to survive in this world. He is a clean cut young man. Never been around an individual like him. Kim Crocker as a matter of fact I’ve been in a situation over 30 years ago my Mom’s boyfriend was arguing with her. I tried to do the same thing come to her defense. Before the blink of an eye neither one of us saw it coming. He had pulled out a small fisherman pocket knife out and cut my Mom at her wrist just missing her tendon. There were no cell phones back then. I ran to call the police in the. While using the phone I was told you’ve been cut too. Never felt it never saw it coming. You can’t calculate what someone is going to do. How there mind is going to switch. Unfortunately. When you’re around someone that you’ve never once seen angry.
When my wife and I were engaged I found a text message from a guy to her. We were having our share of problems at the time and out of frustration she began messaging a high school friend. I started contacting the guy to go meet him but decided to deescalate the situation and work on myself. I calmed down and started to listen to her and why she was unhappy. We worked things out and now we are happily married with 2 kids. She never cheated and I didn’t make things worse than they were. We all have a shadow. A dark side. It’s the decisions we make during tense situations that make the difference between literally life and death.

Iran could be nice, afghanistan is a bit "hot" at the moment, but big parts of irak or pakistan are ruled by your wanted "gods law". Yes, it is hard for the brother to be questioned, but it is the job of the attorny to force the prosecution to present a case that holds up against claims or reasonable doubt. It is quite important to have a working legal system just to have democracy in the first place. All those values you want to throw away, have been earned with blood of your and your european (since big parts of US-law base on british law) forefathers. The defense does its job and they do it good - you should be proud of having the right to an attorney in the first place, 2/3 of the worlds population dont even have the remote chance of a fair trial like this. Cold blooded monster. Wow that was tough to hear him recount the shooting, I can’t even imagine actually going through this. Smart move to twist on your side and protect your vitals, sounds like that saved his life.
My heart feels deep empathy for this young man. The mental and emotional strength it must take to recount such a unnecessarily violent situation. The physical restraint it must take to not jump across the court room when the man that killed his sister, unborn niece/nephew and tried to kill him is literally sitting right there... i just can’t even imagine the thoughts and visions he’s left with after such a traumatizing experience. I saw your comment and wanted to give my condolences to you and share with you and hopefully encourage you. I'm so sorry for your loss. My parents had 12 kids, 4 girls, 8 boys. July 17th 2013 we were caught up in a dreveby and we all got shot while playing basketball. We never saw it coming. My second oldest brother died in my arms. I couldn't help my other brothers bcz I was hit numerous times too. I wanted to save them so bad but I couldn't stand up. Once I was admitted into the hospital I went into a coma. When I woke up I didn't know it was 4 days later. I thought it was just the next day, when my family let me know it was 4 days they then let me know during those 4 days, 4 more of my brothers were gone. My soul was crushed and I could do nothing but wail, bawl, and sob and got sick on my stomach. The pain was unbearable and worse than my physical pain. Even talking about it now I get the angst and feeling alone and claustrophobic simultaneously. Heart hurting and short of breath. Losing my brothers was the worst possible I've ever felt in life even up to now. I know the feeling of losing your sibling and being unable to help or save them. Wanting to do something while also not knowing what to do. My heart and prayers go out to you, sister and queen. And to your family as well. I pray the prayer for you and your family, that I pray for myself and my family. That Yahweh gives you all strength and comfort til we see our brothers again. And to remember that although we can't see, hear, or feel them, they are still with us. Knowing this doesn't always help but it does help me more than not; as some of the wounds have healed with time. I pray it does the same for you.

My theory: Sounds like Sade was a victim of domestic violence. She was being roughed up outside by Markeith. She thought she would be able to scare him with her gun. Not knowing he had his own at the time. When she pulled it out, he threw her against the garage door (the noise the brother heard from his room) and took it from her and put both guns to her head. On some, "you gonna try to pull a gun out on me?!! I'll kill/shoot you!!!'. By the time the brother came out, Sade knew Markeith was out of control and seriously dangerous. She told the brother she "was straight" to "go back inside". Trying to protect her brother from what she knew Markeith was capable of. She was in fear for everyone's life at that point. Smh. Thinking she had things under control. Believing she could handle herself because she had a firearm. But not experienced at all. Markeith is a hardcore expert street man. He lived in a survival mode all of his life it seems. Based on his mother's testimony he has been manipulative, and mentally unstable since his early years

If it were my sister, I would have been considerably less composed. I can only imagine what went through his mind while on the stand. I have no children but I have lost siblings. Nothing in my life has hurt more than the loss of a brother; I still can't bring myself to forgive the person responsible.

Of course when he was looking at his sister from inside the house she looked more scared because when he came outside she was calmed by her brothers presence and she didn’t want him to get involved so she tried to reassure him that she was okay.Without even knowing it they both were actively trying to protect each other. I don’t understand the logic. Markeith ( a gun toting felon ) was physically abusive hence she moved back home, 3 days later she chooses to have him come to her family’s home, she went back into the house, returned outside with Markeith again, continued to argue with him to a point where brother comes outside, then threatens that her brother could whip him ? Too many poor choices that night made by this young lady that unfortunately instigated a volatile situation. Her gun had to have been drawn at some point in order for it to have been found on the scene - as Markeith initially stated. You can’t pull a gun on this type of fool and not use it. I wish Sade had taken heed to her mother’s warnings. I do admire big brother for taking up for his sister as he should have; fortunately he didn’t lose his life also. I don’t think he went out to instigate, but to diffuse the situation and to protect his baby sister. He Doesn’t seem like the type who would jump anyone.

You should watch the interrogation where the killer is whining about the handcuffs being too tight . He asked to have them a little looser and they told him sorry we can’t find the key , the officer they belong to doesn’t work here anymore . He’s was cuffed with the young female officer he murdered cuffs . Very satisfying!!!
The defense attorney disgusts me by his sweet, concerned and compassionate remarks he makes to Sade’s family just before he lowers the boom on them. Like a wolf dressed in lambs clothing. In another case, this might be considered a smart defense. But, in this situation, he’s only crushing the victims a 2d time. Only this time it’s their spirits.
It’s his job to apply pressure and leverage a defense for his client. Omission of testimony as evidence can be an effective defense strategy in a lot of cases. It’s not nice but in order for a justice system to function somebody has to do it. I’m glad it didn’t work in this case because the defendant was clearly guilty of the charges. Rip to the victims.
