That’s classic when she said, we don’t have a lot of men in our family on my Moms side or my Dads. To me that’s the number one problem in American society. The entire family is not at the dinner table. I’m going to generalize the reason when I say it’s because of the poor choices made by parents. Specifically the father not making his wife and children his number one priority. The last thing an infant needs to grow is an unstable home.
I have to disagree. My children all 4 of them grew up with me because I separated from husband when they were young and my children are very respectful and loving. They are not perfect but they don't run around killing people or going to jail for murder. Yes my children are 3 boys and 1 girl and are biracial. Just because their dad isn't there doesn't mean it's ok to kill
I was just thinking the exact same thing. Then I thought, how he started dating a woman younger than his own daughter and murdered her with the baby he claimed he wanted so badly. I feel so bad for his daughter and the murdered victims family. For her children are now without their mother too.

She is raising a child on her own history repeating itself. This testimony is ridiculous if he wanted a baby so bad why did he kill the woman he supposed loved. She lives in a fantasy world. He is a monster and should never see the outside of a jail. Trying to humanize him is insane the jury will never fall for these tactics. The murdered young lady never gets to spend time with her children.

They never fought, the mother told the story, he was outside just to make sure things stayed calm, when they went to walk back into the house the door was locked so that gave him time to pull the gun & start shooting them, he shot the brother first then her with 2 bullets to the heart 😓
Her mom went back inside and lock that door on purpose she did not feel safe she knew that her daughter was weak to Marquis and that her son could easily fall victim... So she locked the door behind her and that's why they were banging on it to get to safety mama was somewhere hiding under the bed she wanted no parts of Marquis because the elders can see a monster way before anyone else

Wow so many ironies in his daughter's life. She's born 3 hours apart from her cousin, they have children a week apart, her dad dates and impregnates a girl about her age. I hope the ironies end there and she never runs across a man like him in the future that would take her life and the life of her unborn child. He really didn’t need kids. But what he said was, he wanted a family of his own. A family to which he could be in the home and not miss out in their lives like he did with his son and daughter. When Sade announced her pregnancy, he saw that as a chance to do just that, even though he knew that the child was not his. To the point he was plotting to sign the birth certificate in order to try and get custody to raise it with his ex. He should have let the relationship for what it was and found himself a vegetarian/vegan, non smoking girlfriend.

This is so sad for so many people. The judge should not have allowed that video. It must have been very difficult for Sade's family to hear it. I'm not criticizing the judge, what a difficult decision! This guy killed a lot of people in a short amount of time and he may be good with blood but society has to deal with him. Not cool.

I don’t understand all the comments on the defense attorneys looks/appearance when so many things could be said about his strategy, the way he speaks over the judge, how disrespectful he is to the jury and other witness, cost the state TONS of money on specialists that contradicted each other etc. etc. etc. He is hands down one of the worst I’ve seen on Law & Crime.
I hope he hears his daughters voice everyday for the rest of his life and understands what a horrible human being is for not only taking the life of his gf, his unborn child, a woman who was a mother and dedicated her life to help her community AND causing such pain and suffering on his surviving children and family. I couldn’t image my husband putting my kids through something like this; imagine being a child of a man that’s killed 3 people (I count her baby) and attempted to kill her brother…. Then having to testify to fight for his life. It’s sick really! I couldn’t imagine the hate I would feel after my pleas didn’t help! It’s terribly sad 😢
They tried so hard to normalize him but there is absolutely no way to normalize a murderer of three lives! I do believe a lot of what he said in his testimony I can understand him loving a female and the female being of a higher statue than him I also believe that there was a weapon present by the baby mom but I don't believe that she would have in a million years used it! But with a guy like Marquis that was enough to set him off into a spiral and feel as though he was going to be hurt even though I truly believe he wasn't it's just the way a simple undeveloped mindworks! And his daughter is extremely beautiful I would drop a dime to be with her and any second!

Not one person that knew him friends or family had anything bad to say about him. Something set him off mentally to kill like he did.
Dr. Prichard was amazing. One doc whom gave a thoroughly cumulative psychological break down of ml. See def it only takes 1 doc., Not 3. You want to see what type of case requires 3 docs- go back and watch the jodi arias trial. Now that's an example of someone who has issues. ml is just a simple minded, uneducated, narcissistic criminal who has repeatedly offended and will never take responsibility for his own behavior. That's something his "momma" neglected to teach after ea whooping.
Shan soemonobs she herself(mom), her daughter, and him said she whooped them with extension cords, shoes, her fist, belt, the switch etc. he even told a doctor that she would beat him until he cried..however long it took him to do so. She even gave up once because he didn’t.
ML This doctor is doing his job, and that is to deny that he does have mental illness. As you see Markeith talk, we as non professionals can see that he’s not mentally stable. The other doctors all said he’s paranoid. This doctor chose to agree to it..but classified it as cultural and not significant enough. Plus, he sat with Markeith for 2h. The others say with him multiple times for 3h+ each time. One even had his workers sit for him for a whole day. The other had him fill out forms and the computer analyzed his responses to be consistent. This doctor said he is 44 and never took medications and therefore doesn’t suffer from mental illnesses. What he forgot to tell, is that his family doesn’t acknowledge mental health in that way, and therefore didn’t seek help. And he’s been in prison almost all his life. He then said he doesn’t believe that he have ptsd..this whole mans life story gives me ptsd.😩

I can tell that the things he says are the rantings of someone who is mentally ill people don’t want to acknowledge the fact that he’s mentally ill because of the nature of the things he has done. So they feel a certain way and because they feel that way they want to believe he is someone who is thoroughly in control of his decision, making the man believe God sent someone to him with a bullet proof vest. But clearly he doesn’t need to be in society, but I think he should be in a mental institution for the rest of his life instead of jail on death row we used to have a lot of mental hospitals in this country for people like Markieff but in the 80s, Ronald Reagan decided to close a lot of those institutions. I have a great uncle, who had to be put away in the mental hospital here in Florida. it was called Chattahoochee. I have seen mental ill people before and trust me. He is one of many walking around unstable in society looks past these people until it’s too late and then everybody steps for it to pass judgment but where are all these people when these mentally ill people are in front of our neighborhood stores, or at the supermarket walking around in the parking lot out of their mind talking to themselves I see it all the time and I wonder to myself why are these type of people left unacknowledged when clearly the things they do say and think aren’t those of a normal person
Seen Greg Pritchard before and don't like him at all. He doesn't do any work - just a 2 or 3 hour interview. No testing at all. And he really has no serious qualifications or experience. In this case compared to the defence experts he is a total lightweight without credibility. He deserves the serve he's getting from the defence lawyer tbh.
