He didn't deny not having a weapon, matter of fact, he said he had two. He didn't deny it. But unfortunately the other side of the story isn't there to tell it. Loyd said when he and Sade went to the side yard he saw the gun in her waistband, I think she pulled out the gun and somehow dropped it in the grass (he was hard to hear so not sure if that was what he said). He said he picked up her gun and put it in his waistband. His defense attorney asked him if he then had 3 guns and out of his own mouth he said YES. Then towards the end he claims he didn’t know what happened to her gun, but he thought maybe her mom picked it up or the cops picked it up to frame him. Can we say contradiction? Also, why bring 2 guns to go talk to the woman, whom he claimed he loved, to explain himself and try to calm her down?

Are the news broadcasters being paid for the rights to broadcast trials? They need to do a better job. Broadcasting live is a great and very helpful tool for the education of our citizens to monitor the workings of our government in courts, to verify how our tax money is being spent, to protect the rights of the people, and to point out and demand improvements where needed. They also need to provide clear readable broadcast of exhibits. The court should demand it and control it so that inappropriate exhibits or parts of exhibits that may offend or disclose confidential information are not broadcast. Judges should use proper discretion not to use too broad a brush. The reasons for not broadcasting helpful exhibits should be clearly disclosed in the record using sidebar as needed.

The cops found him because he used a cell phone.
