Yasss!!! I totally agree that coaches need to slow down and connect, find out what their ICA are thinking in their head :) wait... I should probably do that more 🤣 Love your energy!
Great message. What stuck out to me the most was that your clients just want you to listen. They just want to be heard. That advice is golden and a lot of people don't get it. Great content!!
I also teach marketing and I 100% agree with all of this. The minute you know what's going on in their head and know how to express that is when your marketing will take off 🚀
Great analogy with the canon! It's always great to remind people to put yourself in others' shoes! And you're SO right about when your partner just wants to "fix" things!! lol!
This was great content and youtube didn't make it easy for me to find this video. I had to filter but thank you for making content that's actually effective and easy to follow. You sold me on your program and I didn't feel like you were full of it so good job
I love the hell, cliff analogy ... sometimes its really hard to understand the deep pain that their challenging is bringing them!! Not leading with the solution is important.
Love this: "Your offer becomes the bridge between the two." YES! Sometimes people just need someone who can build them a bridge and walk them across. Cheers!
Loving the heaven to hell analogy!! And as always you make these sorts of topics so relatable. For me I have no problem with the selling part (my background is retail jewellery management haha). Lately I’ve been focusing on sharing my similar stories, so people can see that I’ve actually been through where they are now and it’s crazy the response I’ve been having. You’re right, people just want someone to say yup I hear Ya, I’ve been there too!
This is such a valuable video!! Loved it. Love your personality, energy and content. Thank-you for this. Getting on the phone to sell IS hard for me too 😏
Thanks Melinda! Great info and got a lot of value from this. Love the "must have offers".. I've definitely found myself signing up to webinars and gone Meh..
Super video, Melinda. I'm having trouble clearly understanding what my target audience's hell is, but when I'm talking to them, I am asking them, and talking about it. Because I know what they are looking at, but not 100% sure what the obstacle is, and before I am clear on that, I won't be able to do step 2 or 3. International, non-native English speakers who want to get a job with a global/ multinational company where English is needed. How do really understand another culture?
Honestly, I used to feel exactly the same way. I would have done anything to get someone else to do the "hard part" for me. But now I genuinely love it. I found that there was a few pinch points in each conversation where things felt a little awkward or difficult. Outside of those two pinch points, I loved connecting with people and getting curious about their situation. It wasn't the WHOLE call I hated... just those tricky parts. So I realised if I could just focus on how to navigate my way through those pinch points in a way that felt awesome for both me and my potential client, I could start to relax into those conversations and help this person make the best possible decision for themselves - whether that was working with me or not. Now that's part of what I teach my students so that they can start to love sales too :-)
@@melindakitto Thank you for the motivation!! Question: Do you specifically teach marketing for coaches? Or would your training work also for virtual service-based online businesses?
@@HaltWhoGoesThere I work with a variety of service based businesses like virtual assistants, consultants, done for you service providers, therapists, healers, and more 😘
I loved this video. It was so helpful and an eye opener for me. As a coach and entrepreneur, I've always had a hard time figuring out how to sell my top of the line course and now I have a great idea about how to sell it. Thank you so much for your insight.
I love this! Its so true about fixing when it comes to men. We just really want to come to the rescue of are darling wives haha .Whenever my wife is talking to me about her problems sometimes Ill ask her if this is a fixing conversation or a listening conversation. That Way I know what she really needs haha :) Your good on camera by the way! I really need to focus on my messaging and get in my clients head. Could you do a video on how to make a client persona? Thats where Im struggling at.
