FINALLY! Someone doing a demo of our stuff actually TURNS DOWN THE GOD DAMN GUITAR VOLUME KNOB!! The Deliverance model came out in 2004 and it only took SIXTEEN FUCKING YEARS for someone besides us to demonstrate how well the amp responds to turning the guitar knob DOWN. THANK YOU SIR! YOU DESERVE A MEDAL! BTW, we weren't trying to make a JCM 800 killer. We were trying to make a JMP killer that could do all of the things the PITTBULL amp could do but with only one channel. FYI, when the JCM 800 first came out, it was universally panned as a thin buzzy sounding JMP. The real contribution of the JCM 800 was that it inspired legions of mod people who wanted to make it sound better than factory stock, which was not hard to do by the way. The JCM 800 is the sole reason for the existence of the Ibanez Tube Screamer, without which, that amp is practically useless. If the JCM has a place in history, it's for helping spawn the mod generation that led to the ultimate creation of amps like the Deliverance. PS: We love dogs, but especially dogs that bark in approval when you say BRIGHT SWITCH! All the best from Team Fryette!.

You just made my day!!!! Thank you so much! This things sounds amazing with the volume turned down.... seriously ridiculous! Pittbull Module comes out on sunday! It carries a special story for me... Wether or not it was meant to be a JCM, this video shows that it can NAIL that sound to a T! Well done!

It’s awesome you chime in to comment! I waited for the Fryette version of the GP3 for years, and now I can see how a SYN2 loaded with your two modules would be the ultimate GP3, or should I say GP4 : 4 channels, IR output, UltraLead AND Deliverance voicings, MIDI control, 1U instead of 2, well... I don’t see the point of waiting longer! And you designed the SYN2 too, is it correct? I own one of your BlackBeauty poweramp, it’s my main power amp for the last decade and more. I think it could be a great match for the "GP4"! Great demo, it really showcases the immense sonic landscape that module covers... great job!

@@LeMouk Thank you. Yes, we had a lot to do with the design of the Syn1, Syn2 and Syn5050. We've been hearing from people about bringing back the GP-3. Anything is possible right now :)

And by the way, I have the Deliverance module but I really was waiting for Hennings review since he is one of the reasons I invested in my Synergy rig. I bought the bullet and it is everything Henning says ... a tonal beast.

I thank your videos for helping me pick up the syn 50 head, right now I've got the pitbull mod waiting for an uberschall then I'll get this or a powerball, you and Browne really show off how good these sound. In a band setting my other guitarist has an invective and my synergy cuts through him and the rest of the band, and running effects in the loop is a dream!

The Fryette modules are my fav ones of my new Synergy rig. Highly versatile cleans up really well as well as mega gain, Fryette is a genius designer. If you're a Les Paul user and you do not turn down the volumes and mix the controls, as Billy Gibbons said "you'll never know what tone is" till you turn that stuff off 10. These modules are perfect for a vast range of tones which is what I like. Synergy is about the best thing to have happened to the guitar. Thank you Stephen for two killer modules in the arsenal !

Would you say this module does stuff like Lynyrd Skynyrd? Maybe Hendrix? AC DC, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin? Scorpions? Gary Moore? I want something versatile as i already have a T/DLX and an OS module to cover blues territory and American style tones, but i want to play more rock and instead of buying an expensive british amp i'd like something more versatile and cheaper. Sorry for the long ass comment and good day.

I am using several synergy modules with a fender bassbreaker amp and two notes live. I sold my ax fx3 and Kemper and honestly couldn’t be happier.

Synergy/Fryertte hit a home run with this hard hitting humdinger I was unaware leprechauns could grow back their digits! Now if only the unicorns would take a hint from the pandas and start breeding again!

I never thought I would say this, but I think I prefer the Deliverance over the JCM800. Same tones, but way more versatile.

I am going to sell my Synergy 800 module now that I have a Deliverance module (I bought the former with my SYN-1 because I was waiting for the eventual announcement of Fryette modules); as soon as COVID clears such that I can ship reliably, I will list the 800 module on Reverb.

wow. good paying and good tone. You bring out the character in these amps and make them distinguishable whereas a lot of people use so much gain that everything sounds the same.

Hi Henning, great job on all the Synergy videos. I have ordered the Syb-50 that will take a few months to come yet but trying to decide which modules to get is so hard as I cannot get to demo them. I have gone through your videos and Shaun Tubbs so many times. Which one would you say does Marshall JTM 45 best. Bman. Deliverance, Plexi, Ecstacy. You have helped me so much over the years to understand what I like. Thank you for your time, much appreciated.

The Friedman DS takes a boost pedal in a great way and I'd really like to know how a boost in this module (and others) behaves. Does it take it to another level like with the DS? Maybe I'll have to get one to find out, or Henning does a Boost Into Synergy video? :-)

I just can't believe how revered the JCM 800 is these days. I remember in the 80s a lot of us plexi fans thought it was total crap. They only thing they were good for was as a pedal platform or for mods, like Lee Jackson Metaltronix would do. When the Jubilee came out I thought, "This is how the JCM 800 SHOULD have sounded in the first place!" The 50 watt Jubilee was the best.

I like the sounds but there's only one thing missing that keeps me from getting one... My mesa boogie has both el34 and 6l6 power tubes and I can set which ones I use per channel. If Synnergy would do that, then I would sell my mesa for one.

Just get a used Randall RT2/50 power amp and a Syn2 instead of the Syn50. That does what you want (all via midi) for the same money or less.

Also I believe that the Deliverance might be based on a Hiwatt DR103 more than on a jcm 800.

Could I get this by just having a Fryette Deliverance Synergy module going through a Fryette PS-2? Any reason not to go that direction?

@@EytschPi42 Thank you! I’m a big Fryette fan, I have if you can believe it, four VHT PittBull 45 combos. I just fell in love with having an amp that responds when I turn a knob. I love my JCM800 combo, but feel like the module plus the PS-2 gives me so much more that I will keep one PuttBull combo and the PS-2 with the module and have a wonderfully wide range of tones and flexibility.
