Funny thing is Seagal doesn't even do his fight scenes anymore. Every shot the camera is over his shoulder or it's a wide angle you can see it's a stunt performer. Also been noted that some of his recent films he had some one else DUB his lines because he couldn't be bothered to say them
Funny thing is that Steven Segal put it in his contract that he can’t lose, at the end they were like “yep all done here” and just put a double in for the end of the fight after he left.
The guy is commenting on a fight scene where Seagal and Tyson were not on the set at the same time. Hilarious. He doesn´t even know that Seagal and Tyson have never met on a film set. Tyson did his fight scene with a Seagal double and Seagal did the same with a Tyson double. When Tyson did the final punch, you could clearly see it´s not Seagal he´s hitting.
I was stunned to see Seagal lose in a fight or even get hit and I was doubly surprised to see him move, but on further inspection, you can see him hiding his face behind Mike's head in the final stage of the fight and the part where he just leans into the cabinet to hide his face. Obviously a double. Cringe. I think he makes these movies for himself and not to make money or else he would actually just hire some young talent in the martial arts world and try to make a decent movie. Either that or these movies are being made as tax scams.
@@Katzenhase Hi Nico, I meant to say "I was stunned to see Seagal's character in the movie being depicted or shown as having been hit" His character in the movie usually does not get hit and even if he does, there is never a mark on him. The man has quite the Ego.
@@razaksingh429 That´s not true. He was tortured in "Above the Law", being shot in "Hard to Kill", he was hurt in "Marked for Death" and "Under Siege". He even died in "Executive Decision" but you´re right that he almost never got hit in his fight scenes. That´s a Seagal trademark. Watch Tyson´s final hit. You can clearly see that it isn´t Seagal himself, it´s a Seagal double.
@@Katzenhase Nico, His first couple of movies were actually, kid of good so we don't include those, hehehehe. I was quite the Seagal fan at first but started to lose interest with his lack of diversity. He plays the same character with a limited amount of fighting moves. I did and always will love the first Under Siege movie though. I see I am dealing with a Seagal Expert here so I will nor embarrass myself any further . The reason for his flops I believe is that most or all of his movies are made by his own company and he quite often produces, directs and writes the scripts himself too. I think if he had let someone coach him and took direction from directors he could have been a major star. Look at Arnold, the man could barely speak English and looked like a tank but he made some decent movies and was quite entertaining.
Early Seagal stuff is actually kind of fun, check out Nico and Above the law, personally I'd love if you watched an 80s classic called Best of the Best starring Phillip Rhee and Eric Roberts, the fight at the end has always been a favourite of mine
it looked like the punch simply grazed Steven's nose; not hit him in the face. (looked that way when David Hasslehoff punched some guy in that Nick Fury movie back in the day.)
Awesome! You should check out Showdown in Little Tokyo. It stars Bruce Lee’s son and the Russian boxer from Rocky. The martial arts are surprisingly good. Maybe check out the restaurant fight scene.
How about reacting to some of The Boondocks fight scenes? Season 3, Stinkmeaner 3: The Hateocracy. There are at least 4 pretty kickass fight scenes in that episode.
Interesting aside, Seagal and Tyson never even met. Scenes were done with stunt doubles... Mike with a Seagal stunt double and Seagal in another shoot with a Tyson stunt double.
Steven Seagal is not fun to watch compared to the powerhouses of the genre (MJW, Scott Adkins etc.) and while he had some good moments, Mike carried this one!
Michael Jai White and Scott Adkins were never as great as Seagal in his prime. Fat Seagal is embarrassing to watch but in the late 80's and early 90's Seagal was the biggest martial arts star in the world, a true big a-movie star. Adkins and Jai White were never ever A-movie stars. And by the way, Seagal and Tyson didn´t fight against each other because they were not on the set at the same time.

I don´t care about "fat" Seagal. I´m talking about prime Seagal and in his prime he was "the man" not like Adkins or White who are only B or C- movie stars. Seagal was a former huge A-movie star, with 7 umber 1 hits at the Box Office!!! And by the way, Seagal was also the slimmest action star ever. Look how slim he was in "Above the Law".
@@Katzenhase What does being an A list star have to do with anything? Nothing. This isn’t the 90’s anymore. Also name one fight that Fatty Seagal was in? None. Seagal was never a spectacular martial artist he was just okay. He’s not at the level like other martial artists. He can’t kick and his running is embarrassing to look at. Everybody makes fun of him now.
Check out the mall scene in Marked for Death and the bar scene from Out for Justice. I've watched a couple of Seagal's movies and his early ones are actually pretty good. His shape wasn't too bad and he looked mean as fuck and had great lines. Don't know much about his recent stuff.

this was probably the worse seagal fight you cud have reacted too. react to some of his older stuff. nico, hard to kill. out for justice, marked for death etc. his newer stuff is not the best lol

ROFLMAO!!! 🤣 ... How does anyone take Seagal seriously anymore? ... If ever, really, in retrospect--I'm almost embarrassed to admit I liked his first few movies. At least back in the day they had halfway decent scripts and good enough choreography to make it look like his skills weren't mostly just based on the fact that he's big enough to toss small people around without much effort.
