Marty Robbins on PM Magazine - 1982 

I was a production assistant at PM Magazine when I heard the radio report that Marty Robbins had died. We had already shot Christmasy, upbeat wrap-arounds for this piece which was about to air. I told our producer that they needed to be re-shot. She said, "You write it." Sandie Newton hosts and this launched my writing career. I never met Marty Robbins but he feels like my friend.
