ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I only got Molecule man, Extremis Iron man, and Yelena and I'd have to rank them in that order. Molecule man was the one that I was hyped about every since the announcement. IMO, such a good and powerful character that I wanted on my shelf bad. The execution didn't disappoint.

Puff Adder is example of just almost there Hasbro. The pattern is lost unless you are right up on the chest. I agree it is the figure I want the most from this wave. I don’t own IM, Cap, Strucker, Molecule dude, or Orb yet. So Yelena is cooler than Wonderman to me. I’m sure Strucker will be in my top five. So 1-8: Puff Adder, Extremis IM, Strucker, Yelena, Ult Cap, Orb, Wonder-man, then Molecule dude. Eventually I get the wave.

This part-time actor/full time Avenger "Simon" (or "Wondy"), in this red-jacket outfit has been a long time coming to Marvel Legends. Time-travel back to those Late 70's/early 80's Avengers MCG comic stories when "Wondy" & "Beast" were best buds (& along with fellow Avenger Ms Marvel and S.H.I.E.L.D head-honcho Nick Fury, attended Ben Grimm's late-night poker party in "Marvel Two-In-One" #51, which led to a fun single-issue adenture). Gray Beast (cheery "Hank" face, blue shorts) & this "Wondy" belong in yer classic Avengers roster/display. (And, Gray Beast with white-eyed wild face & repainted black shorts of course belongs in yer X-Men the roster/display. Because you're comics-literate, you KNOW that blue-for-black means black! And The Beast is black, originally depicted in comics as gray-for-black).

My raking for this wave: 8# Orb (i dont even know character so i will only buy it for the BAF) 7# Yelena (i wanted another head cuz having that (visor?) on her all the time its not how i want display) 6# Wonder man (i rather have him on his super hero suit than in his actor suit) 5# Baron Struker (i really want this figure cuz i just love hydra as whole!) 4# Ultimate Cap (its not 100% accurate but i still like this dark blue cap) 3# Puff Adder (i dont really the character that much but i want the Serpent society and this looks awesome) 2# Molecular Man (i love the character and so the figure) 1# Extremis Iron Man (The Extremis armor is my favorite comic iron man's armor, back at the time when i was kid he was everywhere, so having my favorite armor updated is so good)

Another BAF I'm going to miss. I didn't need another Captain America and I don't like the Bug head on Yelana. So I skipped those 2. I'm sorry, but I'm a 29 year Collector, I have built 10 different Earth's, I have over 4,000 Figures! I rarely get the BAF because I usually only need 2-4 Figures out of every Wave. I am down to only needing 14 Grail Figures, although I will buy more for both World Building and Army Building. I also occasionally replace Old Toy Biz Figures that are still in my Collection.

8. Yelena Bulova - cool weaponry, but I just don't particularly care for this look and needed an unmasked head. 7. The Orb - wacky and fun design, but I just don't have a place for him on my shelves. 6. Baron Von Strucker - cool figure, bht I wish his color palette matched the other Hydra figures and needed an alternate hand. 5. Ultimate Captain America - great figure, but I am just not invested in the Ultimate Marvel Universe and he mostly stands alone innthat category. 4. Molecule Man - great figure and a nice villain to have, but he is massively oversized. You want to talk about BHS? This is BFS... 3. Puff Adder - I love a big brute of a BAF, and love filling out the Serpent Society. A little generic looking without that black detailing though... 2. Iron Man Extremis - In a world with so many Iron Man figures, and despite my preference for classic suits, this one still impresses. 1. Wonderman - while i never really aporeciated this particular costume, the imminent arrival of more West Coast Avengers figures,,along with Hawkeye, White Vision, and Scarlet Witch made this essential and that headscult is so charming. I love him.

Hasbro now uses vibrant colours but i think most characters look better with darker colours. For example Moonstone and Dark Phoenix had gold that now is yellow, silver became white and dark red became boring red. It's my opinion but i think they looked better before

I don't care about the Serpent Society, However, My ranking for this whole wave is.......... 1. Ultimate Captain America despite not being the 616 sweet kind version 2. Extremis Iron Man but wished he came with a Tony Stark head 3. Yelena Belova but I did wish she had double jointed elbows 4. Wonder Man because I love his Safari jacket looking suit 5. The Orb because he is a cool and wacky Ghost Rider villain 6. Baron Von Strucker because it is great to have another Hydra member 7. Molecule Man because I don't need him as much 8. BAF Puff Adder because like I said, I don't even care about the Serpent Society

That was a good wave but baf wasn't the best IMO. I would prefer something different. There were so many options: Skaar, Planet Hulk, World War Hulk, Blastaar, Griffin, Dario Agger, Kurse, Dragon Man, ZZZAX, A-Bomb, Mangog. But anyway my ranking: 8. Wonder man. I don't have big attachment to this character and this costume ( it's cool tho) but weak articulation in torso uff. 7. Puff Adder. Not my cup of tea. His design is IMO a little bit boring. And I don't really care for serpent society. 6. Molecule man I don't really know this character but It's cool we got another villain of Marvel and he looks like mad scentist, cool scars on face, same blast effects but really cool color, crazy hair and this stone focused but kinda annoyed face he look kinda badass and in the comics too. The sculpting on this costume is good and bodymold choice don't bother me that much. So I like him. 5. Baron Von strucker we have been waiting so long for this one since toybiz and he looks good IMO nothing I can blame. 4. Orb. As I said I LOVE goofy/funny design characters. And we are talking about guy with BIG eye on his head XD. Bucky cap bodymold doesn't bother me at all. 3. Yelena because I really like her design. long blonde hair and 6 eyes. Black suit, guns. I love it. But yeah shame she didn't have new shriek bodymold. 2. Ultimate Cap. This is figure I didn't expect. Last I saw this version was in Marvel Universe 3 3/4 and that my favorite costume for Cap. And I did got it in ML. Head is not big IMO or even if it is It's really not that noticable. I prefer this shade of blue because it is a little different than 20th Cap + Now I don't care about Accuracy but my own preference. Only downside of this one is old shield because I would be afraid I will break this clip. 1. Extremis Iron man. It is easy I've been waiting for good figure of this armor from Hasbro so long. Everything new well except blast effects but It doesn't bother me. Good articulation, Sculpt. One of my favorite armors of one of my favorite characters.

Paint could have been way better...way better for a BAF. I hate the finger nails, pure laziness. This figure is very nice overall but the lack of paint is a killer.
