@@RandyRhoadsFL it’s not the media dear. It’s America. Centuries of ugly racism. Don’t assume to know what you don’t know. No offense intended but racism is not new. It’s an America tradition that white America denied existed for two centuries. I respect your view. It’s positive for sure. But media is not the source of the issue. It’s American as apple pie.

This era was awesome. I mean the whole thing was just very stylish. You had your MINNIE RIPERTONS, EARTH WIND & FIRE, ASHFORD and SIMPSON, the ISLEYS.. I mean the list just goes on and on. People wore suits and Nice clothing when they performed on television; nobody's pants was hanging off their behinds..it was a really groovy scene and I THANK GOD for it because it was the last great era of soul music in America.. Now, if they made a TV show like SOUL TRAIN, everybody would have to wear BULLETPROOF VESTS. I'm just saying though.. I'm just saying.. @@eltonjones5293 He gets credit for starting soul music, but he did not. Soul music was around before Sam (even though it wasn't called that) and it thrived after him. Anyway, this video is a beautiful remembrance of MARVIN and it's disrespectful to try to belittle him and his considerable contributions to soul music and music period. Sam was great in his own way and a good businessman , but Marvin was on a whole other level, musically speaking. PERIOD.
