Here's the first DLC of Mass Effect 2 that we will post. The Mass Effect 2 game movie is being uploaded as we speak, but it is 8 hours long, so most likely it won't be up until tomorrow. We decided to not include the DLC's in the main movie yet, although we most likely do a "Complete Edition" after all the DLC's are done.
The Mass Effect 2 DLC's are really good, and Lair of the Shadow Broker is arguably the best. In this DLC, Liara T'Soni is tracking down the mysterious Shadow Broker, and no one is safe. She'll do anything to recover the man the Broker kidnapped... and the Shadow Broker's agents will do anything to stop her. Team up with Liara and chase clues from the luxurious heights of Illium to the Shadow Broker's own secret lair.

This is why I love ME series. Charr is definitely a Krogan (his fate is revealed in ME3 - during a mission tracking a krogan scout team), and yet he is not the brutish simpleton like how most Krogans are perceived in the universe. His last poem to the "Blue Rose of Illium" made me cry manly tears.

I love this DLC, although it is so much better if you are romancing Liara. If you do it on the three games it adds the factor of star crossed lovers quite nicely.

@@neomatrix6749 only two characters love Shepard from the beginning: Liara(big crush in ME1, evolved through the game and then she rescue Shep from Shadow Broker and then the whole ME2 and ME3 is pure love and fear to lose Shep) and Tali(her love begins from admiration and respect and evolved in actual love during ME2 and ME3)

I love the scene of Liara taking over as the Shadow Broker. "The End Run" OST playing in the background as she takes over a galaxy wide system.. She has more power than anyone could hope to have. Give her 10 minutes and she could start a war..

Loved every moment of it. Perfectly delivered story, some kick-ass banter lines, car chase and battle on the hull of the ship in the middle of the storm was just a cherry on the cake. Probably best DLC in whole series.

For me it was tali. Always sweet and caring, and wanting to do right by everyone. Even in her "rebellious stage" in mass effect 2 she felt super bad about it.

I played the trilogy two times but I can't manage to romance other one than Liara my sweet, inteligent,badass and loyal girl. I romanced Miranda because I was alone in ME2 but In ME1,3 and LOTSB I went back to her. Now i'll try to romance Tali if i'm strong enough

Ivan Pardo In Mass Effect series, my romances were like this: ME 1: Flirt with Ashley and Romanca Liara ME 2: Have Casual Sex with Jack & Flirt Tali, Return to Romance Liara in the DLC and after cheat her finally with Tali. ME 3: Only Tali. ME: A: Only Vetra.

Erika M I have a R9 390 and a Fx 6300, the game "gets to" 144, but in actuality it flucuates around 144 and 90 during battle. When it reaches it though, its so smooth it creates its own motion blur without taxing the system.

Wow! Great job! I never got the chance to play this expansion. I'm hoping EA/BioWare re-releases the Mass Effect Trilogy for the XBO and PS4 sometime this year with all of the DLC included so I can finally experience this great trilogy in its entirety. Maybe there'll be an announcement at E3 this year with an N7 Day release date? Who knows? Here's to hoping, though!

It's been a while since I played the DLC, so I could be wrong, but I get the impression that this is how the Shadow Broker continues to maintain its presence in the galaxy; killing the current one with their killer replacing them.

sonix167 EA says they won't give us a remastered trilogy. So I guess, I'll just stick with backwards compatibility for my XBOX ONE. We already have the first installment in the catalog.

Nice! i never played this DLC it puts me at ease that i watched someone do this mission and revealed the shadow broker's face (In Arnold's Schwarzenegger voice) He is one ugly motherfucker lol! this is why i love mass effect i made a great choice buying the trilogy apart from that ugly ending on 3, but Andromeda will be so much fun i hope! i'm itching to play andromeda so i can go back into space! What should have happened next is some dialogue during the 1st part of the fight. Liara: "I guess I touched a nerve." Shepard: "Yeah a table being thrown at you is usually a sign of that. Good job." Liara: "Just shoot him Shepard." Shepard: "I am. But it would be easier if you hadn't annoyed him."

So I have to wonder, because the action cutscenes in Mass Effect 2 feels fast, fluid and natural. Every impact has weight and a ‘punch’ behind it. And yet for Mass Effect 3 onwards, it just starts feeling sluggish. Just compare the Suicide Mission and Shadow Broker cutscenes with say, the Citadel. Or worse, Andromeda. What the hell happened? Their mocap budget ran dry?

It's good but it's still way too short to be worth buying. Glad I can just watch it here so I don't have to. My only complaint is about the lack of sound effects on some of the cutscenes. All those things happening without added sounds really takes you out of the story.
