Its clear to me how teaching someone to make more money in their business would be a great fit for this. But what about "soft skills" type programs? Specifically something like leadership development or management training.
Idk man all I know is I’m still trying to execute on accelerator. My main question for you is should I ditch accelerator to do masterminds or keep doing accelerator then sell masterminds once I get more accelerator clients. Want to see how you look at masterminds versus accelerator
Yes they do but Sam's whole mission is to get his clients to a consulting nirvana which is a state of completely passive income. This is as close as I've ever seen from him to that idea. Sam is a legend
Great video!! Investments are stepping stones to wealth .., you won't have to worry about money any more mostly because your investment creates more money
Really just Gold and stocks? In this era of crypto and forex? Come off it man! you're not investing right!., you need to review your investment strategy
Well said, I invest in crypto and in 1year I've made so much money from it than my investments in gold of over 5 years, I'm currently redeploying most of my investment in gold into crypto
@@Antoniopedro7624 There is the problem man! you shouldn't be investing without a professional guide, it's similar to gambling your money. You should get a professional broker
I recommend my portfolio manager Rebecca Mayer. She's definitely the best I know, she changed my life and finance for better and she's still making me loads of money.
Masterminds are definitely better than Courses, as it's simply more involving! Excited to partner with you on this Sam, can't wait to grow WeTube together :)
Ahh... I see the worldwide spiritual awakening is going well with you Sam! I've said this to friends since day 1, which is, "Sam's packaging spiritual truths for the every day person via this consulting thing, and I'm not sure even he knows it." Amazing bro.
Respectfully I disagree. I don't think it's the end of the era for courses And I believe everything that you taught in the accelerator and the upleve is still valid. The information that I gave on sales is legendary. I understand it's time for a new direction but you can't negate the information that you taught previously. The information you had in the course is earlier are Like The Bible as it relates to consulting. I understand you have to evolve and I get that I really do however the stuff you taught earlier I'm still making tons of money with it. I guess I drunk the cool aid with the 1st 2 courses . Lol I love you Sam Ovens you are the best 👌
100% agree with this. His Accelerator course is what landed me my first paying client. It was and continues to be a grind but the fundamentals I learned got me more revenue than anything else I tried in almost 4 years. Now that client wants more work, and the second client is in sight. His Up-Level course is not something I'm able to execute yet until I have a truly refined and teachable method, but that will be a product of mastering Accelerator/managing lots of DFY work for clients. No student is going to buy my course if I don't have a proven history of success, and no one is going to join my mastermind unless I have successful students. It all starts with accelerator. But yeah, I get it. He lays it out in his own course. You need to present a 'new' method to your market, a shift in the paradigm, and that is what he is doing. The 'old' way is always dead, and the 'new' way is always what you're missing. No matter what, I give a lot of credit to Sam for the success I'm having now. I tried so many different things, selling on Amazon, affiliate, dropshipping...his course opened my eyes to other ways I can provide value, and exactly how to find and close paying clients. THANK YOU SAM. All I need to do is keep following the course and I will get to my goals!
I love it Sam! Can you please make a video here in RU-vid about what is a mastermind according to you, and what must includes regards to structure, rules and dynamics to be Great? Thanks!
This is GENIUS. This takes my coaching program to a whole new level. I can charge more, create big application and big results. I’m totally implementing this.
Very interesting insights! In the b2b space you're in with a lot of complex problems the mastermind is a more flexible business model than the courses. In other industries though I think the course model is still valid and even better than the mastermind. For example simple software training or a cooking class. The recurring revenue and the urgency to act on a mastermind is really great though.
I've been doing this for quite some time with clients.. in the context of 90 day development cycles ... yes much better results because there's action and accountability on a tight, cyclical basis which aligns with human behavior science.
Wait... Sam is saying that masterminds are better than courses, right? But Wetube sounds more like a 6 week course...... With 10 months of Q&A meetings!! Which is actually what Uplevel is... But AT A HIGHER PRICE. Nice way to charge more for your courses.
I am a Uplevel Program student and we are currently planning a mastermind yearly program .... my question is since the Uplevel program was a hybrid model... why not update that rather create a another new program... what happens to the already students ? are you discontinuing the Uplevel program?
So Sam made a video a few weeks ago about how much he loves the COURSE world, and he’s going to start a podcast with COURSE creators. Then says in his email newsletter that COURSES are dead and MASTERMINDS are the future? Very clear contradiction
@@MatthewOnlinee it's a podcast about the consulting model, courses are a subsection of the model. many of the people doing courses will soon transition into the mastermind model. get it? he's not being literal when he says its "dead" he just means there's a better way of doing it
Was wondering what you were becoming. Love the new look, you really did it, let your hair grow. Mine are becoming pretting long themselves. With a bit more length you're going to look baddass. Anyways, just an old student of yours, used to attend every weekly Q&A, kinda sad it stopped, that's what helped the most. But I hope that you're feeling good and doing good, best day to you.
It's funny how we got away from a school model, and it feels like you're slowly returning to a model close to a "school" with a collabration from members and a "master deliverer". Feels like a "Scandinavian" school model, but online.
Was this part of your annual plan, Sam? I didn't see it there at the beginning, and No courses, no YT content, and now a Joe Rogan podcast and a RU-vid mastermind? I've been a HUGE fan of yours for the principles you've taught... But strangely enough, now you seem to have deviated from what made you successful, Focus.
If you paid attention to the video he released in January of 2022... this was exactly on his annual plan. And, if you took Accelerator (I did)... he straight up says in there: "WHEN THE FACTS CHANGE, I CHANGE MY MIND" He clearly said in 2022 that he was changing things because he saw the facts of the industry changing.
Different people love different vibes and ways of learning. I love online courses because I absorb more when it's self-directed study. I love it better than a mastermind; however, I love the magic of discussion that sparks new ideas. I am an ambivert so my introversion loves self-study. My extroversion loves community but if I had to make one high ticket purchase, its an online course.
I applied and I haven't heard back yet. One of my programs is actually moving into a franchise this year (even a step above mastermind as we get part of our students business forever/ basically partner with them)
Just wondering how that is supposed to make us that bought your coarse the last time you sold it? That was a lot of money. Are you saying it's just a waste of my time?
Good point. I'm making money using the information from the 1st 2 courses and it's going great. I don't get what hes talking about when he says the content area is over that's nonsense and that's contrary to what he said when he sold us the 1st 2 courses in the 1st place lol
Hey I remember you! I took your identity shift course. Really good!! Oh yes, Sam is increasing the price of information. More expensive, packaged differently. But that's a good thing for coaches!
Hey Sam, I booked a call and paid the fee to do the application call last week, I haven't still heard back from your team on scheduling the call, can someone from your team provide an update? Ty!
Sounds weird to me, so you cap it at 60 members that means the max you can make from this model is 588k even tho there’s more demand…most normal people will not fork out $9800 for a glorified facebook community unless you’re already famous like sam ovens. you can make way more by charging less and letting more in. The other thing is what exactly is different or soecial about a “mastermind” basically it just sounds like a glorified facebook group with some brief course supplementation. Focus should be selling an outcome medium is secondary.
Some good thoughts here @thebigbidder - How to sell a 10K spot in a specialized FB group, when you are NOT Sam Ovens is really the key here. Many of us already do workshops, mastermind groups or something more passive. Scale is always the challenge.
Sam Ovens is such a grifter it is actually funny to watch. Imagine taking this guy seriously. He makes money selling courses to other grifters teaching them how to grift.
It does look that way now, but if you've been following him for a while you'll notice that something has changed... He's not how he used to be. It's like if all this focus and hard work brought him to a level of success where he wasn't happy anymore and said: F*k that, I'm just going to do what I want.
@@HectorSaulify nah he's always been a grifter. The problem with grifters is they usually say some obvious stuff that is helpful so that the lower IQ folk think they are great, but they actually are just scamming people with expensive courses with nothing not obvious.
@@georgew1857 Anyone who follows Sam ovens for a while knows this isn't true man... There are a lot of those out there, but Sam isn't one of them. I've watched every single one of his videos. Low IQ?? 😅... Those people are following the Kardashians, or other IG influencers. Look at this guy, there's literally nothing to take from him other than his principles. No fancy life, no fancy clothes, none of the crap the Low IQ people actually want from someone! Plus, anyone who's bought his stuff can tell it's really good.
@@HectorSaulify what are you talking about. Sam Ovens sells over priced courses to people promising to make them rich. Just because he looks autistic and says generic business principles that anyone who has ever had any moderate success knows doesn't mean he isn't a grifter
No one forces you to watch. If you get more value elsewhere for free, pls go there. It's amazing, you get all this value for free and some nitpicker feels like they have the right to complain about the method used for delivery. Life is too good right now, people need to recheck themselves.
Sorry dude, I'm too busy building stuff to take the time to produce high quality videos. I'm optimizing for building my business, not becoming RU-vid famous.
@@samovenstv trying to sign up but my card won’t verify, I’m in accelerator already and it’s been game changing. Is there a way to hold my place until tomorrow as I feel this is a huge opportunity to be part of the 60
As I'm listening to his presentation I agree, However for him to say that the time of content and as other courses are not relevant it's totally wrong. I would say that this is a next level however you can't negate the value is 8 the value of his last 2 courses
