At the 2016 Games, it appeared running might represent a hole in Mathew Fraser’s game as he took 24th and 37th place, respectively, in Sprint Course 1 and 2. But again proving the accuracy of his personal hashtag, Fraser returned in 2016 and turned on the jets.

This has to be one of if not the best/my favourite mat Fraser performances ever. After getting destroyed in 2015s running event he put in the hard work required to get better and it payed off big time! He didn’t need to win this event but just the level of improvement in one year was remarkable, a real solid example of #hwpo right here

That cameraman is the second cameraman whom I saw, who can run faster than the competitors, if he did not have a 37-pound camera to carry and aim (sideways) at the competitors. The other was during a past Olympic 100meter dash, where the cameraman outran the fastest runner. Mat would have come in second if he raced against that cameraman. It's a good thing that that cameraman doesn't work for the Internal Revenue Service of the U.S.
