It's not confusing. You can watch Dylan throw for a short time and see that this is not at all the same thing as J Simms or etc. Besides "making money" it is also about him actualizing his talent and I hope our coaching staff can do right by him. July...tic...toc...

I certainly hope so. But he also said last year “Jeff Simms is an NFL QB”. He’s not even a JUCO QB.

If I recall, Sims was never a “can’t miss” prospect. Almost everyone thought it would be interesting to see if he could be a different QB and elevate his play from his Georgia Tech days.

I know how gun shy we all are as fans and we want both to keep guarded but also we want so badly to actually have a guy like Dylan who can assume leadership of this team and March is right down the field back to where we all know we rightfully belong. We as plain old ticket buying fans had NO CONTROL OVER STEVE PEDERSON OR HARVEY PEARLMAN AND THE BAD PROGRAM KILLING DECISIONS THEY MADE THAT NEARLY DROVE THE LAST NAIL IN NEBRASKA FOOTBALL COFFIN FOREVER THAT ONE HAS TO IMAGINE THAT WASN'T THEIR INTENT ALL ALONG.... However better times have finally come along, we have a REAL football guy leading the program now who would like nothing better than to make Nebraska his forever home and his last job in Coaching...so I have a very strong gut feeling that Dylan was destined to come home and lead us back....and I also feel his younger Brother Dayton will no doubt continue that tradition.....I feel Dylan will get us back to competing for a National Title and one of those 2 Brothers will win at least one National Championship before the Brothers have moved on to the NFL where I know they both are pre- destined to play. Nebraska under Matt Rhule will once again see it's Offensive Lineman win top honors in the country for dominating play, outland trophies and Rimmington Trophies will again be handed to our offensive line each year, our QB's and Running Backs and Receivers will be in New York again for Heisman Consideration if not winning them outright.....we will have the top Defensive award winning players on Defense each year and multiple....multiple All American Selections each year.....and when the final polls come out each season you will once again find NEBRASKA AMONG THE TOP TEAMS IN THE COUNTRY... .THAT IS WHAT THESE YOUNG MEN AND THIS STAFF HAS TO LOOK FORWARD TO.....THEY WILL LAY THE GROUND WORK FOR GENERATIONS TO COME AND ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS TO WANT IT BAD ENOUGH....WE WILL GET THEM ALL AND I MEAN EVERYTHING THEY WANT AND NEED TO ACHIEVE SUCH HIGH GOALS.....ALL THEY GOTTA DO IS KEEP FOCUSED AND WORK FOR IT....IF YOU BUILD IT...IT WILL COME ! You guys are crazy. What did you see that made you think sims was a good QB? I said the whole time casey was the best and toughest QB last year it was never close. Casey gives you a chance to win the game, sims and purtty give you a chance to lose the game at any time.

Please, oh please oh please do not put too much weight on the young man. But I hope that Rhule is 100% correct.

We [husker fans] have gotten crappy football for years, they want support, buying tickets, swag & NIL and we get glossed over truths. Frost 'rumors' Even dang Cooper. Think as fans that have stuck through this many years of crappy football we deserve the truth.
