My second favorite BL character. I feel bad for Maya. Troy Calypso killed her in Borderlands 3. Lilith sacrificed herself in the end aswell. Two of my favorite Borderlands characters are gone. 💔😑
as much as i loved the BL2 story, these audio logs always make it sound like Jack was trying to "Recruit" people to help him. i know he wanted someone to manage to get the hacked core into sanctuary, but did he need to go out of his way to find such capable VHs to do it? especially since he Knew that Maya was a siren, i'd figure he'd at least wanna keep her close to his chest. imagine BL2 where the first half of the game is you being hired by jack to fight Mercenaries and bandits in search of the vault, with you specifically being hired to take down one particularly nasty group, the crimson raiders, with maybe the reveal you were working for the bad guy being somewhere around the angel reveal?
I sort of feel like Maya is the closest to being the 'main' player-character in BL2. - intro cinematic shows her silhouette before the other VHs - in Tiny Tina's Dragon Keep DLC, Maya is the BL2 VH Tina convinces Brick to imagine becoming - she's the only original BL2 VH to appear in Krieg's intro - of the four main VHs in BL2, Maya is the one Jack needed basically no convincing about getting onto the train for the trap; he was instantly disturbed to hear about her existence, as you can hear here - Sirens just seem to be A Big Deal in every Borderlands plot, and probably will be again in BL3 I mean, it's real lean evidence, I know that. It's just the vague impression I get. I'm guessing Maya was the first player-character Gearbox designed for BL2 before figuring out the others. Don't flame me for saying this because you think I'm a Maya fanatic. Krieg's actually my favorite player-character.
CognizantCheddar The new sirens ability should flinging enemys to the side or forward (make them ragdoll mode) and they should have a skill tree where you can choose elements that they get affected by, finally her wing ability should be like mayas but with more people flying away
I disagree, as much as I like Maya. SPOILERS: before you go to angel she warns not to take with lilith for obvious reasons but everyone ignores the fact that maya is also a siren. soooo hoiw would maya do that mission (Lore wise)?
I wish they added ECHO logs for Krieg revealing how he escaped and whatever wacky shit he said to the soldiers as he disemboweled them with their own arms
Probably something along the lines of "I powered my cockatiel for the ribcage slaughter!" Or "I have the shiniest meat bicycle!" I would imagine. Kreig is fun..
What an amazing character! I'm sure she'll totally be used properly in future games! I'm sure she won't suffer the worst written death of any videogame character ever!

She and the other BL2 VHs plainly ally closely with Lilith and the BL1 VHs over the course of the game, so I don't see why not. Besides, Maya specifically came to Pandora to learn more about her own kind. Seems obvious Lilith is the first person she'd look to, once all the drama with Jack was concluded. I'm guessing BL3 will establish that Maya and Lilith become pretty close during the interval between the games. Their mutual siren powers have quite a bit of cooperative synergy.
At the end of the Tiny Tina DLC, the end scene shows a silhouette of the VH's and other characters standing beside each other. And in many other parts the existence of the other VH's are showed like when they ask Salvador something in the DLC. So basically the 4 VH's are supposed to be together the whole story.
It would be cool that the new BL3 character isn't actually a siren, but has the ability to harness the power of Eridium like Lilith does. Also it would be cool to see Maya and Lilith as NPCs we can talk to
Ghost that wouldn't work. Lord wise only Eridians and Sirens can harness the powers of eridium with their bodies. I don't want the lore breaking conditions you suggested.
I chose to ignore your comment till some dip shit made a comment tonight and I read yours, you didn't need to point that out to me because I understood what the last comment was saying. I was simply pointing out to him that I wasn't asking about the video it's self just how to replay them, nothing more. but as he pointed out to begin with we cant witch really sucks balls.
