Maya? Siren. Zer0? deadly Assassin that speaks in haikus. Axton? skilled and clever Commando. Now Salvador?!? "Yyeeah, I like this guy! Go ahead and put him on the list." ~ Handsome Jack
Gaige is a lot of fun, too. Go for max Anarchy, invest some skill points into Close Enough, slap on the Bee shield for good measure, get a weapon with a high rate of fire, and then spray and pray, and watch everything die.
"Yyeeah, I like this guy! Go ahead and put him on the list." So anyone think that Handsome Jack actually thought he liked Salvador or he actually liked him because he'd make a potential candidate for his plan? I dunno, at this stage I felt that Handsome Jack actually DID like Salvador.
Man I played Maya and regret nothing but damn he sounds fun!!! And since I am brazilian i tend to favor other latin americans. Go Salvador !!!!!!!!!!!1
This. Gunzerking with any weapons other than a grog/harold, grog/interfacer is just annoying, getting to 72-8OP is the worst experience as Sal, but after that raiding is fun
Considering that he had her hooked up to three pipes that pumped Eridium into her body 24/7, this should come as no surprise as to how Jack treats her.
I’m rather very confused as to why Jack hires random people to “help” him find a vault then goes and tries to blow them up on his train during the beginning of the game?
I suspect it's because his plan hinges on finding the Vault himself. He's confident he has the resources to do it himself, which means Axton, Maya, Salvador, Zer0, Gaige and Krieg represent competition he can do without. 'Hiring' them just means knowing where they are when he's ready to off them. Basically, you know how Captain Scarlet stabbed you in the back once you'd helped her uncover the treasure of the sands? Same principle, except that Jack doesn't actually need your help, so he feels confident in going straight to the part where he stabs you in the back.
He intentionally didn't kill them. His plan was to make them band together with Roland in order to blow up Sanctuary. That was his plan from the start.
