@@chevogliomai bbr 220 you get 40 extra horse sub 6 seconds 0-60 even more race car characther and 150mph top speed pair it brembo forge wheels gripy tires and decent coilovers and struts this thing will have porsche a run for there money tight and twisty track.
That felt good just watching it. Must've been nice for real. Also nice seeing drivers being courteous to faster drivers, as you were with the Porsche. Good on you all.
Proud 2020 RF owner here, I will never get to take my little car to such a track nor do I have the skills or balls so it's nice to see just what my car and a skilled driver can do. Well done!
Dude did all that with the A/C on and with a set of 100lb balls LOL ! He needs a lesson on Heel/Toe as well. The tail wiggle at 200kph took some balls!
Low weight man. It's always the key for fun in the corners. 190 HP is plenty for a car like this. Especially since you can wring it's neck and use all of it
@@tolga1cool I wouldn't say this car is particularly light.... certainly not in terms of MX5 history......the power train is what impressed me most. I had the model before this....hard roof. It rolled alot more than this, you couldn't have pushed it this far.....engine wasnt as eager either. I have an Rx8 as well.....again,way softer than this chassis wise
@@BastianUllr had it for a few months now and I have rediscovered driving. My daily car is an Audi A5 sportback 40TDI quattro. Its a great car, reliable, etc... but its emotionless. My MX5 is less comfortable, loud, impractical, etc... but 10x the experience. I love it.
That was pretty impressive, from a driver's perspective. I'm starting to think I would be a terrible track driver. I also love seeing Miatas own other enthusiast cars with orders of magnitude more power on the world's most dangerous race track.
Nice Runde, sehr gekonnt. Respekt!
So cool. Great driving. I spent many hours in simulation doing this exact thing, going balls to the wall on the touristenfahrten. I think my best time ever was an 8:45. You are the MAN! Lol! I have an NB now and I love every minute I spend in it.
Very nice driving! You are skilled AND brave. My car just got FOX type 16 exhaust and KTec Street 70/40 coilovers installed af few weeks ago. The car dirves SO much better with these mods (i mean coilovers obviously). I can't wait to try it on the Nordschleife, of course at a very-very moderate speed first.
As a previous na owner this car was always surprising people how fast it was to drive. Not in a straight line but around a course or through traffic. Normally track driving is way too boring for me but this held my interest. Miatas are momentum cars keep your speed up through the turns and you dont need all the hp to get you back to speed. Thats what makes them so much fun.
very nicely done. (racing background, been round the 'ring, have miata RF GT with full Whiteline sway bar kit - big upgrade from stock) This car's suspension seems to have had the full monty from the way it tracks much tighter than stock and how this driver, who really knows the 'ring, plays with both ends of the car. very skillful. it's rare that an 8+ minute time gets my heart rate up but this one did. An excellent drive.
Really great driving and it shows how capable the "underpowered" MX-5 can be. However, the downshift at Schwedenkreuz was risky at this moment. This is a place where the worst high speed crashes take place.
Sauber gefahren. Congratulations.
You made my dream come true. I always wanted to drive a Miata on the ring. I don't need something stronger than that, it is safe and fun at the same time.
I have the mazda nd rf top160pk version (tuned to 175hp). These little cars are also a dream to drive. I myself could not and dare not to drive it like you can though. Thumbs up!
I drive a gun metal grey 2014 MX 5 NC. A ten second car. It came out of the box race ready with Le Mans paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Every time I drive it I'm in a James Bond movie. When people see it they ask, 'does it have machine guns behind the fog lights?' The license plate reads 009. It's definitely licensed to kill. Does a 'Tokyo drift' nicely.
If there's one request I could make, it would be to superimpose the speedo/tach/gear change gauges on the video in post-prod. That would be immensely satisfying (and really cool lol). Otherwise, simply amazing to see this little car accomplish what it can in such talented hands - and feet ;)
Ja dat is zo Maar het blijft een auto voor het betere gooi en smijtwerk Wel neemt de driver steeds meer risico als er andere auto's in de buurt zijn om in te halen Weet wat je grenzen zijn
I own a 2016 MX5 with the 155 hp 2.0 and I know the new 184 is more powerful but that car has more under the hood than a stock Mazda. Great driving though, just think what those BMW's he passed are feeling like now!
