I've had a few people message if I could get some in car and driveby footage. It ended up being windier than I though it would. The exhaust is well broken in now and is a nice mellow sound. The latest tune revision by DRtuned has been playing with boost, you can hear the turbo spool inside the car now, It did not capture as nicely as I had hoped, the clips around 2:02 is where you can hear it the most, in car is much more noticeable. The last clip is moderate acceleration around 60% throttle.

Any idea how well the powertrain handles the extra power? From what I’ve seen online it seems like the rear diff will be the weak link

The OEM+ that we've been developing on the car is well within safety limits. This tune is primarily to wake the car up and have a much more usable power band, significant power gains are down the road as development continues.

Have you noticed the tune help with power cuts in 3rd gear and above. I want it so bad but I worry about warranty

I have no power cuts in 3rd gear and above with the dev tune, it no longer closes the throttle.

Is this a custom ecu tune from DRtuning? No one is offering to this day a ecu tune for mazda 3 turbo besides jb4

It's an in development tune from DRtuned racing. www.drtuned.com/ My car has been the development car since about November. It feels great and I will have some dynos to share when it is time.

Any oil burning issues with your car?

My car falls in the vin range. I change the oil every 4500~ miles and it burns about 1/4 qt during that time. So it does use a little but not anything too crazy like some do.

@computerguy5437 total mod list so far is: Drtuned development tune, Corksport 63.5mm catback, SRI and not so low springs. Enkei Raijin wheels, 235/40/18 Firestone Indy 500s. I have the Corksport turbo inlet pipe waiting to install after some more tune revisions. Not sure on current power. I will have some dyno runs in the next few months.

Great to hear there are more options aside from jb4. I'm a bit leary to have additional wires strung around the engine bay 2hen it comes to long-term use.
