@Fresh Sodaa You know fighters watch tapes of their opponents to possibly see a weak point on who their versing or what move their fighter uses alot, its literally to gain info.
@@smerkyy3153 Did you see Connor looking at any footage lmao??? You can literally just watch the fights when they air and see their style. Fuckin casual
@@heisenberg550 idk if you're unfamiliar with the acronym or if you're laughing at him using the word as if he called him a goat and not just pointing out that what he said was goat talk
@@compilations756 thats not how u deaclear a godt. Does the greatest of all time get dominated in his prime? No. He got mauled by khabib. And ge hasnt done much after that either. Not a goat.
Conor’s mentality back then really was something else. He started to change during the Eddie camp, and really went off the rails after the Mayweather fight.
100+ mill and worldwide fame in just a few years affect 99% of the people. You will lose your mind sometime i think. Conor looked realy humble tho against Cerrone, he aged and learned alot from his past i think.
Holy fuck in retrospect McGregor had zero business cutting to 145, he was visibly and audibly struggling to function the last 2 days before the fight, to go out and fight like that after being in that condition is ridiculously impressive
I mean he started the first few fights in the ufc in fw and I think he is undefeated in fw too, his 3 losses in the ufc are all in lw, which physically he looks way better at
@@niklausorosco5563 yup and he was winning the fight with Dustin let's be honest, he only needs to make some adjustments and he will win, he should change stance and check leg kicks
Considering how McGregor ran through that featherweight division, Chad Mendes was actually his toughest opponent. Salute to Chad, he doesn’t get enough credit
@MrBrenman My God you are literally fucking arguing against Medical Scientists Medical Scientists refer to Performance Enhancing Drugs as Juicing. including EPO
Meh...not as good as "who da fook is dat guy?" In my opinion. I loved Conor's trash talk early in his career. He was funny and philosophical and didn't go after people's religion and families. I liked his trash talk against Diaz too even though I love Nate. "He makes gang signs with the right hand and makes animal balloons with the left hand." Haha
Me and my buddies bought tickets to Jose vs McGregor and when Jose pulled out it was this fight. Seeing the buildup and then watching it in person was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The first time we saw McGregor vs a fighter with a strong American wrestling background and he put on a show. The mind-state he showed for the buildup of this and the Aldo fight is like none other I've ever seen.
@@macnaldo9 me neither. I think his is just a big story. For the soft and sensitive ones if you happen to be hurt by me insinuating that he might have lied. It was a humorous comment to Ronalds reply in that he didn’t see him there (at the fight). Oh ans one one thing if your offended you don’t need to be watching such violence go to bed.
@@jeffreyclark8208 It's not rocket science. We know it was a reply to his comment. Were not as slow as you. Only re...ds explain themselves like you. And whycis that so funny? Are you that easily amused? And you have real thin skin. Like a women.
@@bensmith5288 what an idiot? Since Connor has become a coke head who hits old men and mocks khabibs wife and religion... Believe it or not he's lost alot of fans for that. Not idiotic to not be a fan of his at all
@@davidfulcher7311 still only consists of walking and talking. using big words doesn’t make it sound scarier i would much rather do that than my current job
@@mr.chocolatehazelnutspread8317 I think we're almost saying the same thing. No one has implied that it's an honest days work or manual labor. But everyone gets 24 hours in a day. The media and travel consume an enormous amount of training, rest, and recovery time.
3:48 Mendes saying McGregor enters in every fighter's head, but not on his. 4:18 McGregor says " You shouldn't have answered that phone.." warning him that the mind games started from that moment on. 4:28 Mendes confirming that his mind became McGregors playground.
nah bro this was a very rare time in MMA there’ll never be another era quite as sensational as this one, not 1 person believed in him when Chad stepped in and he literally shocked the world, especially the way the fight went, he was arguably losing before he got the knockout and sinead O’Connor singing him into the ring, honestly guys if your not Irish you’ll never truly understand how poetic this fight was
Bear in mind when Conor was coming into the public eye and championship contention in 2014-2015 He was so Razor focused that EVERYTHING else took a back seat, including drinking, showboating etc. He was a man on a mission. I miss this iteration of him so much.
Conor was something else, man. The confidence, the charisma, the sharp wit, the left hand.... Smart as a whip, too. He always projected confidence and motivation that anyone watching couldn't help but feel confident and motivated. Regardless of the past few years and the next few years still to come, the man is a fucking legend.
Conor mcgregor motivated me to lose 30 kg of weight and get in the best shape of my life during his ufc prime , you can aply his singleness of purpose in every aspect of life as long as all the rest has to move aside for it . Cant deny the man is inspiring
Connor McGregor:” working out on a empty stomach takes you to someplace like your primal and on the hunt” Mended: jsut talking about hunting and animals
@@nathan7247 definitely was hard to watch, although I have to say I didn't like his actions afterwards; maybe he had a mental breakdown idk, but some of the things he said and done were distasteful. I hope he comes back better than ever tho.
Urijah is that dude that acts like he doesnt know someones recording him, but you can clearly tell he knows the cameras on him, dudes actin like a Goof
Conor was just simply unstoppable. A great edit, really well put together and a real journey back to the time of the Notorious. I believe Conor rises again in 2021.
lmfao khabib, jon jones, silvia all did it better. Conor was fighting midgets and beat 2 notable opponents. Look what happened when he moved up. Fanboy casual
@@LaPride247 Conor KO’d everyone he faced at featherweight except for Max, which included the undefeated for 10 years pound for pound fighter at the time Jose Aldo, no one has come close to replicating that in a 2-3 year span. And I don’t practice MMA so yea I am a casual just like you
This was peak Conor. Probably his most exciting fight, finally capturing that belt (interim, but still), ending the most exciting run to the title in UFC history. And was also the first UFC fight of his that showcased his weaknesses, showed that he was not invincible and foreshadowed his eventual fall.He was pushed to the brink by a capable but small wrestler with mediocre cardio. Looking back at this fight, he was never going to beat Khabib, who's basically a larger, stronger, more skilled version of Chad with worse striking but a vastly superior gas tank.
Sharp razor focused McGregor was a sight to see. Def one of a kind during his reign. His speech, his actions, his accomplishments show where he was in life. Will go down in history as a legend in the fight game
Gotta say.... I've loved every single one of these Larone mini docs. Entertaining and very well put together every time. Any time I see a new one uploaded on here I'm all over it straight away knowing it'll be a good one (cus it always is 🤷🏼♂️). Keep em coming brother I look forward to the next one yeah👍🏻. Respect mate. 👊🏼
I have been a Connor fan since he came in, but I have a huge respect for Chad. They are both warriors, I do this and it’s a wild game!! I don’t compete because of heart disease and I have too much to lose. I wish these two could be friends like Conor and Uriah faber.
I think what puts mcgregor on a different level is his mindset. All these other fighters have doubt, no matter who he’s fighting he refuses to acknowledge any skill of his opponents and in his head he reigns supreme. To him, losing isn’t even a thought
Till date the UFC 189 post fight interview remains the most special Conor McGregor interview. We saw an emotional side of him, the sacrifices he made, all he had to go through
McGregor vs Mendes is the most underrated Conor fight. It's probably my favorite ufc ppv because of Lawler vs Macdonald beforehand and because it was supposed to be McGregor vs Aldo, the ufc had gone all out. Apparently the walkouts and production was pretty expensive because they never did it again. Sinead O'Connor sang foggy dew live above Conor as he walked out and they filled the octagon with fog. They also used the canvas as a projector screen showing Conor's face with the 🇮🇪 and Chad with the 🇺🇸 it was next level production. Some country singer did Chad's walkout. Ufc 189 was a special event
