Join me as as I show you around my Aussie Gallery and work studio. I think knowing the face behind the brand and understanding ones business integrity is really important these days. Unfortunately online marketing can be deceiving.
I believe ones own skill should enough alone to sell and use as marketing tools to promote a brand.
I'm here showing transparency as I share a Q and A style vid.
Perceptions about surviving as full-time artist can be quite inaccurate at times due to historical occurrences - I'm here to say being an artist is a fabulous life and I encourage it.
I am a self taught artist and believe learning is the key to life. The day that stops I no longer wish to exist. Although I have been painting for a long time and dedicate myself to continually improving - as all professional artists should do...it's important to never become arrogant... instead acknowledge those in our lives that share and help us in our journey.
Yes artists at the end of the day to a certain extent compete with each other as business owners and marketers - but there needs to a point that stops to show kindness and compassion - to check in on others - touching base with them - discussing arty farty things, generating ideas and motivating each other. I'm so fortunate to have such artists and people in my bubble - thank you! You know who you are.
