Macros 1 serving (3 in total): 652 calories, 79C, 20F, 42P
500-600g chicken thighs skinless boneless
3 bell peppers
3 onions
3 carrots
200g tomato sauce
300-500g chicken stock
180g reis
seasoning chicken:
11/2 tsp smoked paprika, 1tsp each onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, black pepper
Directions:
Add thighs into a bowl and add all the seasonings and mix until coated. Chop up all vegetables. Start by frying the chicken in a bit of oil on medium-high heat for 2 minutes on each side. Remove the chicken, add 10g of oil, and add the vegetables. Fry them for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Now add rice, tomato sauce, and 300g of the stock, save a bit for later. Add the chicken back, close the lid, and led it simmer on low-medium heat for 30 minutes. Check every 10 minutes if the pan has still liquid and add in more stock if the bottom is dry. After the rice is fully cooked, remove the pan from the heat, chop up the chicken into bite-size pieces, and add it back into the pan. Mix everything and distribute evenly into 3 meal prep containers. Done!

When most recipe videos go for 10,15, sometimes 20 minutes (which can have advantages in its own right), i love that yours are so short and straight to the point, while still being detailed enough to be understood

Just tried this recipe on a whim because I really had no idea what to make for lunches for this week, and realised I had everything besides chicken on hand... this turned out absolutely amazing! The chicken was pull apart tender, spicy, the veggies were lovely and creamy. I substituted the rice for konjac rice and added one extra thigh, but the chicken stock, passata measurements and cooking time were identical and worked out just fine. Your channel alone is keeping me on track mate, I can't thank you enough

I love the start where you explain "I add this per serving, if you make for more servings, add the same for each" It's cooked down so all understand it, it's not easy for all to do the "what if I want to make for 3 people" So I like this way, even tho I never had any trouble with it, it just made my brain happy to hear it like that. keep it up! love the food!

This type of recipe would be really good in a large stew or soup pot. High walls would be great for large volumes. It is different than a pan though

Just a little something. First of all, I have been a subscriber for almost a year and a half now and absolutely love your content, honestly one of the only fitness cooking channels that actually make use of cooking techniques and good recipes. One thing I constantly hear you say is that thighs without skin are similar to breasts, but that isn't at all true. Thighs have more than 40% more calories than breasts without the skin. For weight loss, this is massive! I can eat 300g of juicy breasts and be full, a ton of protein, and keep it under 300 cals. Just something I wanted to add!

I always check out your videos, they look delicious. But i'd love it if you would find some cool high calorie recipes for individuals that require it (like me, i'm active and do lots of exercise), because i keep a low meal frequency and eat a lot in those sittings, so the low calorie meals don't cut it for me. thank you, felu.

I like eating chicken and rice at lunch when I’m the most hungry and active during the day. I lowered my carbs for a week and my blood sugar was out of whack.
