I'm on week 2. Bought so many different things this past weekend to add flavors. I do notice after eating I don't crave more food or junk food like I use to before.
This is absolutely blowing my mind ! I LOVE these foods BUT coming from a Keto lifestyle, this way of eating scares me ! I’m scared of carbs 😅 But I’m willing to try because the proof is in the pudding 😊 You look amazing, as do your meals. I think I need to read this book, The Starch Solution as well. Please understand, this is a 180 from what I’ve been taught forever and the more I see people like you and truthfully, as far as I’ve seen, plant based has been around much longer than Keto and as far as I know, I may be wrong, but I haven’t really seen anyone who’s thrived on Keto for 20,30,40 years ?? Yet if you look at countries where people live the longest, they’re all mainly eating this way not Keto and that is pretty amazing ♥️🙏🏻

I am surprised by immediate improvements. My left knee has been inflamed for 8 months. After 1 week of plant base, the inflammation has dramatically reduced. It’s crazy. Love your you tube channel.

I did the 50/50 challenge in July and lost 4 Ibs. Then I moved back to normal eating habits, but worked out like crazy.. I lost maybe 4 Ibs in 6 mths... I’ve decided to go back to 50/50 as well as reading the Starch solution. I have been pretty consistent this time and not only have I lost 2 Ibs in a week, but feel much better physically and mentally.

You have saved my life. I used to have high cholestrol and have started to eat plant based and after 8 months I am free of cholestrol pills. So thank you very much. I have lost 8kg in the 8 months. I've been eating mostly plants for a couple years after seeing a bunch of food/health docs, but had never eliminated oils until 8 days ago when I also started the 50/50 plate. I had also let (some) dairy, (too much) alcohol, and (glorious amounts of) junky processed snacks (I❤️chips) eek its ways back in over time (Corona virus 😉). So all of that has been eliminated as well, which I did slowly over that last month and went full in last week. Oh my gosh, I feel so good already! No oil, I believe, is the key, because I did a good 6 months to a year of clean whole foods eating at the beginning of my transition years ago and never had this result. My inflammation is very noticeably diminishing day by day! I could cry, I'm so happy. I usually have sore joints (elbows and SI joint/hips especially.) I can feel my body healing and it feels so good! Also, I lost 8 lbs this first week. My spirit feels lighter and brighter! I can't say enough about it, it's simple, nourishing and healing on so many levels. Get on this train folks! And if you do it for more than just weightloss I personally find it's easier. What I mean is watch some documentaries to support this lifestyle. Ones that address not only human health, but the health of the rest of the planet as well. ☮️ Peace.
Hey, that's great news! I'm so happy for you! What a great testimony. I know how you feel. Many years ago, I was eating a plant based diet, but ended up with health issues, not really losing much weight at all. I had many struggles, but I didn't know about this way of eating...removing the oils, and high fat foods. What a difference this WOE is compared to just a regular plant based diet.
You hit it on the head with family and friends giving you a hard time. I find it incredibly disrespectful, but found that distancing from those toxic people was a win win! Thank you Kiki. I always coke back to you when I find myself falling off the wagon.

Keep in mind, your 'Breville Smart Air' air fryer has a 'Super-Convection' setting. It's a super-heating feature that extracts moisture faster. It turns tortillas into crispy, no-oil chips/tostadas! (My full size convection oven just can't do this.) Thanks for posting all of your helpful videos! They keep us all on track. :)
Kiki , you were the main person i followed when i decided to go whole-food plant based. only had 10 lbs of "Winter" to shed , but i found that it cured constipation for me .Yay! It's been over 2 yrs and still Loooooove it. ❤ thanks for all your great information and tips

My reason for commenting is to say that I loved the real look feel of your air-fry oven. No matter how often I clean it, it seems to always look like it's we'll used and loved with crumbs all over the place because no seems to want to clean it even though we all use it!! These are suuuuper good with grated carrots in them too. Without seeing this video I happened to make my own last week with potatoes, rice, shredded carrots, and Indian spices. Delicious!!
I am not totally plant based, BUT I did make your cheese sauce and mixed in diced tomatoes with green chiles .I ate it with some siete chips and wow that was sooo good!!!

If you don't have an air fryer yet, what degree and amount of time do you bake in your regular oven for both the Savory Potato Pancakes and Garlic Tater Tots? And what is the difference in texture if you don't use the air fryer? 2. I'm new to the steamer basket...does the water touch the bottom of the basket? How much water to add?

Hi....loving the videos...I'm binging them since I've found them lol. Question.....the air fryer/toaster oven...is it the big one or the smaller one? Any downside to this? How is it to clean???? Enquiring minds want to know!
Guacamole is my weakness! A little is fine. But my version of 2 tbs is more like half a cup 🤣 i need to just give it up while I lose the weight. Maybe trade for some green salsa and beans or something
