I don't understand the people who are complaining that Chester doesn't sound exactly like Scott... what did you expect? They were 2 different people; you can't find anyone who will sound EXACTLY like Scott. Not to mention- Chester sang it in his own way and people are complaining that he doesn't sound like Scott; had he imitated Scott's style, people would have complained that he's a copycat and unoriginal. There's no winning. By having that mindset, people are essentially ruling out Chester and not even giving him a chance, deciding before he even opens his mouth that he's not good enough.

chester was a fuckin beast . 100.... dude had big ass shoes to fill, but he made the songs his own he didnt try to mimic scott, he owned the song and made them his, no one can replace scott..... scott was amazing but the dope robbed him of his light. miss scott so much, but STP lives on with Jeff Gutt. another singer not trying to replace the legend

If I was just listening to the audio of this and not knowing what year it was I would assume that it was Scott. This is one of my favorite STP songs for some reason.

No offense to Chester because the guy is just doing the best he can, because Weiland left some Shaq size shoes to fill. Weilands voice was just so incredible. it would be like trying to replace Robin Zander in Cheap Trick, cant be done. R.I.P

I love stp I'm a huge fan but in a way I feel sorry for the deleo brothers. They needed Scott like Scott needed them. They were cursed by critics the stuff the deleo brothers did was amazing and highly praised but since it wasn't stp it wasn't that good. Anyone remember how good talk shows album was? It's honestly one of my favorite albums but fans didn't like it since it wasn't stp.

Chester is too ingratiating, Scott had the potentially violent & questionably-demented persona that gave STP their edge - OK, on this song, when Chester goes to sing like Weiland, he can do it - a little pitchy-flat occasionally tho The DeLeos and what's his name the drummer are always consistently professional

This sounds like a mediocre STP tribute band. It's kind of like when the Doors of the Twenty-First Century tried to tour. Ian Astbury was a mediocre Jim Morrison imitator. They should just start a new band and form a new style. This is sad.
