This is a little detail of turning mechanics that I would have found helpful when I started out. Intro music: Searching - Forhill Outro music: O, My Perfection - Chrome Sparks
Because he's talking about very slow turns. What you're doing intuitively is called counter steering. Look it up in motorcycles. The euc basically serves as the front wheel.
Sometimes, I think I find myself doing it the opposite so that I can keep the EUC a bit more upright without scraping pedals on turns. Seems like there are almost unlimited EUC techniques.
Yeah, I can see how it might feel odd at first. Did for me too. Of course you need to shift your balance at the same time to allow leaning in the direction of the turn slightly.
It is not correct information. You can easily turn right, applying pressure to the front of the right pedal. The essential part is to apply pressure to one pedal more, than the other.
An EUC can only detect over all tilt, there are no pressure sensors in the pedals. Pressing with toe on one pedal and heel on the other pedal will cancel each other and have no effect. I do this while riding in a straight line for circulation in my lower legs, and there is no turning response.
Bro, this is not right at all. Your pedals can't apply differing inputs; you can't accelerate on one side and decelerate on the other side. You'd need a 2-wheeled vehicle for any of this to work.
