They were here in Taiwan for the 2023 Asian Baseball Championship from December 3-10.This interview is filled with warmth, laughter, solidarity, and important stories you have to know of.
We talked about the opening ceremony here in Taiwan, Team Palestine's game with Team Hong Kong, and of course their game against Team Taiwan. We chatted about several unforgettable highlights, such as the brilliant performance of Team Palestine's Yunis Halim, and many more. And of course, we talked about what the baseball scene is like in Palestine, under the oppressive occupation of the state of Israel, and many important connotations that come with this. Did you know baseball in Palestine started in Gaza? It's a fascinating story. When in Taiwan, of course we had to introduce some of our famous baseball players to Team Palestine as well (and more).
