Meeting an online stranger for the first time~~ this is a story of internet strangers to real life friends! I felt like we were in a coming-of-age movie except we're already in our late 20s hahah
A month ago, my husband Jack sent me Si's vlog where she was surfing in China. He laughed at how she was like a Chinese version of me -- loves to surf, loves to film, and having a bit of a quarter life crisis.
I still can't believe that she decided to just book a flight to Hawaii to visit me, just like that. In the four days that she was here, we chatted about navigating our late 20s, feeling lonely and lost, the struggles of being a content creator, the surf culture, being asian american and... just chasing our dreams.
