Nobody is going to sit down and watch the mtv channel anymore. Phones exist. I prefer it this way. I can watch whatever I want whenever I want. Thank fuck mtv and music channels in general are irrelevant now

it had m u s i c but times change and internet has become accessible to a higher percentage of people. the mindset has become: why waiting for something when you can have it right now? the consequence is the lack of quality on some channels. the same has happened with TV shows I guess

So Far is my fave but Peace Sells is by far there best imho... Everything else was amazing but Dave lost an edge by Countdown, the attitude piss ant snarl was growing more mature & maturity doesn't belong in punk or metal :P

I love how you claim to have read the book but made up your own bullshit anyway. If you had any comprehension of that book, you would know that they were all clean at this time, the Countdown to Extinction era Megadeth. Ellefson had been clean for a few years and never went back. Marty was never an addict and Menza only indulged occasionally. Mustaine relapsed a few more times in the following decade but had been mostly clean since Rust in Peace. In other words, the handful of years when Gar Samuelson and Chris Poland were in the band and the couple years that followed their exit were the only time any of them were really on heroin and coke all the time. And that has jackshit to do with any incarnation of the band from 1990 on up. Are you sure you read that book? Didn't just skim through it look at the pictures? Either way, I think that's a pretty fucking silly take away
