I'd appreciate if Raging Demon had some startup frames before performing the move and Tatsumaki deleting projectiles everytime the feet is in front. Regardless, Akuma Dragoon is so damn sick I love it.
I personally think it looks more appealing without the startup/pause frames, as it adds for more surprise, menacing moments when you're just near the end of the battle. I support your tatsumaki idea as well! Maybe when he's only going directly towards you, in a way to make this move a bit more easy to punish... if that makes sense. :P
In the original Street Fighter games, supers/ultras are usually "declared" and is shown very clearly for the opponent to properly react if they aren't in endlag, so adding an extra pose right before Dragoon lunges at you would both look fierce and give the appropriate reaction time. Then again, we do have a Raging Demon equivalent in Mega Man games in the form of MMZ3's Omega Zero's "Ranbu" or "7-hit-slash" so it's appropriate if JKB made it stay that way too.
It's more of "can you react to a move and be as flashy as possible?" and making sure the players know that it's their fault for being too aggressive in front of Dragoon instead of having to play safe all the time because "anything might come out". As of now, it has almost zero start up frames when even Hadouken and Shoruken has them, so I'd say just a few frames of posing similar in length to his Flame Attack that leads into the lunge is pretty plausible in terms of game design.
chris S. Yeah, but I think it’s suitable for the higher difficulty because the fights themselves are more intense and fast-paced. I totally get what you’re saying because the track is that good, but I feel like the special fights deserve the special music. ;)

The sprites of magma dragoon is superb. Really feels like you were part of the original dev team who work on the sprites of the first 3 games of the X series. You really have me grinning when you showcase new moves of the boss. Hope to see the game completed man.
I love the detail of irregularly flashing, mostly depleted health bar. It's as if X is starting to experience critical system errors due to catastrophic damage.
@@Ace-tu2bj It's still not completely out of the realm. X does say "Hadouken" in X1, and the SNES Street Fighters definitely still called out their special moves. It's just the matter of adjusting the quality on the voice samples to match the style the game is going for.
Yeah really. That it took the creator of the game 3 shots to beat Dragoon, while knowing exactly what the boss would do and it's programmed patterns means it's gonna be a steep clime for most gamers.
I can not stress enough how great that one turned out so far. I always found Magma Dragoon to be overrated by fans, but this one may change my mind yet. Great work!
Dragoon is a beast in X4. The boss rematch against him using Zero is insane; no ride walker to help AND Zero doens't get a technique he is vulnerable to. Its practically a forced Z-Saber fight.

You know he crafted a well designed boss fight when the creator himself has some trouble guessing Magma Dragoons next move. Don't ever stop man, it's all looking amazing.
Flaming Tatsumaki? RAGING DEMON?! :O Thank you so much for making my favorite MegaMan X boss even more badass! I Always asked myself why Capcom never gave him those moves, and why Magma Dragoon never was added to a Marvel Vs. Capcom game.

Simply amazing. You have perfected this boss. - The music is very, very good and fits this boss - The animation is perfect - His moveset are perfect, even for a hard level (akuma dark combo is amazing, but if you add some kind of fire effect or something after he is done would be better) - The stage doesn't need any change, is perfect the way it is Great job man.

I was like: "huh he's much stronger than in his last video, that's great, such cool maverick deserves good remaster." then he performs Akuma'a move and I'm like: "HOLY SHIT HE'S INSANE, YOU NAILED IT JKB!!!".
He fused the lava pillar attack with the magma rain one!! Amazing!! Was a great idea, considering the former was barely a threat in the first place, but I think the actual attack lasts for way too long. Maybe removing 1 or 2 seconds would help, since you're stuck in that dodge-dodge scenario without even being able to deal damage to him. I personally would like the Hadoukens to be like the meteor rain projectile sprite, then turn in to that fiery trail one when separating in the wall, giving a more powerful look to it, but I understand the choice, since it's supposed to be it's main attack, so not powerful. Although I didn't pay much attention, the burn effect seems to be merely aesthetical, since X loses determined HP, then during the burn he doesn't lose any additional points, which is weird, but may actually be a good idea, since letting the player survive with 1HP just to die an instant later would be kinda troll, plus we all dislike that cheap-ass Megaman 7 burn effect. Lastly, I would like to see a faster or more powerful Tatsumaki, but as of it is now is not even close to bad, since the air usage plays a big role in surprising the player along with the quick start-up. Speaking about start-up, the Shun Goku Satsu is kinda cheap, honestly. The damage(although not seen in this video) is probably hella high and it feels like ZX Omega all over again, which would only be fine if this is supposed to be a superboss of some kind. Aaand... The move itself could have more visual standout, feels somewhat tame, to be very honest. ... And one attack left? Hm...
actually, he does lose hp from the lava effect, but since he took just took damage from the attack he has i frames, therefore, not taking any damage, but once the i frames end, you can actually take damage from it
Oh please tell me you're gonna give him some 16-bit compressed voice clips for the Street Fighter attacks. It's the last little detail this needs to make it perfect.
My eyes just fell out their eye socket seeing magama dragoons raging demon. I don't know what else you can do to make this fight even more epic, fun, or challenging. But I'm sure you'll find a way. Such a blast watching these progressions again
Segundo o planejamento, não, mas é o JKB, não dá pra confiar no que ele diz ^^, além de que os bosses tão sendo muito bem feitos pra simplesmente descartar, talvez escondidos em algum lugar no jogo, ou em modo secreto, ou talvez bonus de new game+

Things that needs to be more awesome; 1. Magma Dragoon goes "SHORYUKEN!" and "HADOUKEN!" Snag some audio clip for that. 2. Magma Dragoon does visual cue when he does RAGING DEMON (blink and miss, like a twinkle in his eyes). Bonus point if he does the Akuma quote 3. Higher Difficulty Magma Dragoon has an unblockable (but no visual cue) continuous attacks (Hurricane kick followed by Dragon Rising and connect it with Dragon Fist). 4. Even Higher Difficulty Magma Dragoon HEALS IN MAGMA. 5. Beating Magma Dragoon at the highest difficulty nets the player a skill (not weapons).
Holy hell! Looking amazing! I love Magma Dragoon and seeing him get even more moves like Tatsumatsouken and that Akuma finisher is just a great sight to see And seeing that this is WIP makes me wonder how overhauled this fight will be from X4 I hope he and the others will be fightable in the game as easter eggs or something
