A walk from Loweswater in The Lake District over two Wainwright Fells, Mellbreak & Hen Comb. The walk starts from the village of Loweswater and climbs the steep North side of Mellbreak before heading along the ridge of Mellbreak to the summit. We then descend to the valley of Mosedale before another steep climb to Hen Comb. Distance is around 7 miles.

Wow is all I can say to that... maybe a bit more. 4k was awesome on my TV, pixel perfect. Crummock water looked so still at first then those shots from the side, breathtaking. Laughed that you cut the crossing out lol. We did not double back like you did just bashed straight over from Scale Knott, wasn't good. Great film really enjoyed it

Superb video Eddie, great shots of wonderful scenery, nice to see Carol with you. You were lucky with the weather again. Derek and I were up Mellbreak a few weeks ago and we did intend to go on to Hen Comb but it was heavy rain and and windy so we cut the walk short and came back down along the path beside Crummock Water. Well done Eddie, always enjoy watching your videos. Mary

Amazing. I hadn't realised Crummock Water was so dramatic. You can almost see and feel the weight of the ice carving out the landscape all those years ago. What a lunch venue! Thanks for taking the camera with you and the great video and stills. Have a good week!

Quality video Eddie, we both enjoyed every minute of this and great to see Carol out as well, especially on such a brilliant day. Looked a canny pull at the start but so worth it for them stunning views and walk along the ridge. Loving the commentary along the walk and at the start. Lucky (again) with the weather mind, we had an overnighter in the Lakes last weekend, so I thought I would have two filmed walks, all I got was two rain days :( Great watch, really enjoyed it, cheers Alan

I enjoy all your videos. Your camerawork is outstanding. I don’t know what your secret is but you always seem to make the sun shine in The Lakes ☀️

Well done to you both a magnificent film on an equally magnificent day weather wise. Some truly stunning scenery, what type of camera are you using? The good thing with your films Eddie is that you move/pan the camera slowly and smoothly so avoiding that nausea feeling some films have. Cheers ⛺️

Hi Eddie, would you say Mellbreak on it’s own is ok for a novice of mountains? Experienced myself but thinking of taking someone up there in the summer. Many thanks, Matt
