I honestly feel sorry for all the artists who released albums before Melodrasma, bc Lorde just swooped in and stole every award from under their noses

Melodrama for me, is THE album of the year because the lyrics and the stories behind the beautiful tracks are brutal. Not only the lyrics, but the songs in general are unpredictable. Unlike other normal pop songs, Lorde doesn't give you that usual drop for the chorus. She doesn't give you the drop, but it's still a bop.

When i hear the word "rue" i think of icarly too lmaoo

Lorde is so talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference.
