Yeah. But to be fair, even when I noticed the activation outline, it took me a minute to remember "No that's not a glitch Kogla just does _even_ _more_ than fighting things and blowing up enchantments."

Kogla is an ok card, I just feel like if only he had some sort of ability like, to bounce one or more humans to make himself indestructible in response to a wrath, for example off the top of my head, he'd be so much better.

They should have the activated abilities to have a little font with the text of the ability you can activate above the card instead of just a glowing card... because at 40:00, Seth completely IGNORED Kogla's Indestructible ability. Although that first game was an absolute dream indeed, since you was able to crush that control deck even through all the punts.

Whoever made this deck clearly needed to be shown the true path of adding in Vorinclex to every deck. Kaya ultimates immediately which might as well win the game with that deck, Kenrith can pump more (not great but still), Poison counters doubled if you want to try and jank people out.

Not tutoring Urza's Ruinous Blast to stop the lifegain and get a bunch of value, on top of everything else made that truly an absurd control match.

the fact that Urza's Ruinous Blast was never used in the UW match hurts my soul. All that enchantment removal that is non legendary and he skipped getting the card that get rid of it all and does not even touch his own board

It does unleash a teferi for the opponent tho, so probably not the worst thing to not fire off

I think he was afraid of cast out on the soldier+ block with the shark. Even though he could have tapped sissy in response, it might not have been worth the risk to him.

Yes but the Opponent could have removed enforcer instant speed and then blocked sisay. The other creatures could have Attacked though

This is the power level I want to see for this series. Something that at least looks like it has a chance of winning. Not something you know is going to lose every match like the Ashiok Planewalker deck.

Nice deck. I run Kethis as a brawl commander and its a very fun deck to play, especially when combined with other cards that make your legendaries cheaper.

46:56 why not tutor up Urza's Ruinous Blast? Dealing with all of their enchantments at once seems pretty insane to me. Also, Kogla's ability is a thing. This whole first match is a real feel bad lol

Match 1 game 2 went from 13:25 to 56:40. That's a 43 minute, 15 second single game. Is that a record for 60 card formats on goldfish?

Against control, when fearing counterspells, I would have played Valki so many times, even if the opponent had no creature in hand. Seeing 7 cards seems like a very very useful information against control

judging by the mana base this deck was probably thrown together from someones collection and theres a couple swaps to be made that would seriously improve the deck. the world tree (or whatever that land is called) seems like an obvious choice, as does yasharn, and maybe a shalai for pesky hand attack and settles

Fynn is probably just a ban version of Chevill ? On the other hand I think that trimming them for third Chevill would improve the deck. Lack of World Trees is also a strange omission, they feel like relatively low cost way to power up the bridge, or Tibalt.

13:17 mox amber isn't a bad mox in this deck, most decks it is because of the low legend density, this deck half the cards are legends.

Why did the control opponent cycle Cast Out instead of using it on the Enforcer and then wrathing...unless they don't have a wrath (yet?)....but then...removal seems better than a random card there

Punt list this time: - Forgot that Koogla has an activated ability to protect humans and become indestructible - Didn't count the goblins - Never played Valki agaisnt countercontrol to check for counters - Played Sisay against goblins instead of Kenrith - Played Urza's ruinus blast using the 1/4 with vigilance instead of playing the extra land to keep the 1/4 untapped as a blocker. What else?

Game 1 was superb despite a few punts. It was really impressive how well the deck held it's ground. Goblins are like you say a Combo deck in this format and with a slow gameplan and too few disruptions the deck stands no chance. Also Rakdos Arcanist PREYS on this kind of deck. Small creatures are a liability in the format because of this very deck. Overall imo the deck seemed super decent, and I think it could be improved upon as there are some really questionable legends in there (like Arasta). It goes to show how broken/tuned the top decks in the format are though.

I have been playing a lot of WB Legendary Humans in Historic and I beat a deck that cast 3 wrath of god, 3 settle the wreckage, 3 hour of revelation, 3 doomskar, 1 ondu inversion, and 2 Angel of the dire hour (yes, seriously) against me. Dumbest match I've ever played. But legendary humans has been good, should get better when we get Killian
