hi, under the keyboard there is a small box near the HD (relase door) push gently with the screwdriver to lift the back door ... :-)

I know that this video is old, but I have to ask. Does the button next to the HDD have to be depressed, in order to remove the RAM? Thanks.

I thought mine was slow as molasses with the original 4GB of Ram in my Aspire One 722. I just installed 8GB into recently.

The memory max for the Acer Aspire One netbook is 1.5 GB, maybe that's why it does use the 2 GB you just installed.

the reason why you dont have full access to your ram is because your running a 32bit version of windows. If you were running 64bit you would have full access

Not worth bothering with only 2GB max. Far too slow even with SSD. I slung mine out.

Reformat the window, it would help. At moment you format it, you will see option to select either 32 bit or 64 bit. Just select 64 bit & all your world problemo will solve.
