Jokic has to play a full 40 and he and Bogdonavic both have to drop 40. Plus the bench has to drop a combined 25 and keep USA under 90. And this is with a team USA with Steph Curry whose FG% has been subpar. Not to mention Ant has the lowest PPG on the team at 22 and that's +2 over Jokic who is Serbia's highest scorer. Jokic has to pull a Finals LeBron, but just like what happened with Greece, one elite NBA MVP cannot carry you against this 2024 Team USA whose youngest player drops 22 and Booker and Embid shooting 15 from the floor. TL;DR: Jokic and Bogdonavic gotta play 40 and drop 30-40pts, Serbian bench gotta drop 20-30 combined. And they have to keep USA under 90. Unfortunately Serbia just barely edged Australia in OT and Jokic dropped like 30pts I believe. Still not cracking 100 pts. I just don't see Serbia playing that kind of dominance against USA in the semifinals.

Me and you both my friend. Last year when Germany beat us in the finals we played without Jokic. I don’t think we played our best game on this tournament yet and I hope it comes in that last game to win the bronze. Of course I would like for us to play in the finals, and I will stay hopeful for 2 more days, but reality is that we don’t have as good of a team as you guys, no one does imo. Probably not a well known fact, but German national team in basketball was one of the worst in Europe. Than a Serbian became their coach, and within less than 2 years, they became European champions (1993 if i recall). Name of that coach... Pešić.
I think team USA vs Serbia should have been the final. Honestly, a team with the 3x MVP and All-Star of the NBA, Nikola Jokic vs the finest US born NBA players etc... that's a dream final. But some weird reason, the Olympics organization of Paris 2024 made it possible that 2 teams from the same group, meet each other in semis, that's simply dumb.

@@MVRBFree That's right. In all tournaments it is set up like that so the highest ranked teams are put in separate groups with lower ranked teams. Then, the team that wins the group stage, they play in the quarter finals against the second best ranked team of another group etc... that way, in you expect the final to be between the 2 best teams of the tournament, Unfortunately for Serbia, the organization of Paris 2024 made it possible that even though Serbia already played team USA in the group stage, they again have to face USA in semis, which is ridiculous. In all previous tournaments, you normally would face the same opponent you had in the group stage, only if you get to the final. But for some weird reason, Paris thought they are smarter and changed it so you meet the same opponent in semis. I guess it was done so home team France would only meet team USA in the final. Something we would expect from the French, so it doesn't really come as a surprise.
Definitely France is the biggest rival for the US. They are at Home and extra motivated with the Embiid nationality issue. That final is going to be Wild

Show some respect to the others! Giving no credit to Avramovich and Dobrich for playing great defense is a robbery in this interview because it all started with them. Melting that 12-point Australia lead from the half time was Bogdanovich and Dobrich thing. Jokich is the best Serbian player, I agree, but coming to the semifinals in the Olympics is not just one man thing. Experts who had platforms to comment on international basketball should start watching multiple leagues so they can give well-deserved credit to the players who are not playing in the NBA.
