Venezuela's bench had 3 extra base hits on the day, all triples, each from a different player. RF Diego Rincones, hitting 6th, had the best day at the plate with 2 runs, off 2 hits, including a double, and 2 RBIs over 4 at bats.
Neither pen had a stellar day, each having to go to the well numerous times. The Netherlands dipped their bucket 6 times, Venezuela 8, with no pitcher lasting more than 6 outs.
