Bob, is quite helpful on the phone troubleshooting your stereo issues. Bob get 10 thumbs ups for all his help. These folks actually will help you, trust me I am for real.
Excellent. Just by seeing this video, now I know why I have no sound from the 05 clk320 I just bought. The CD Changer is missing and if this a fiber loop system, that's the break. Thanks for this.
Are you guys still in business?? How can I reach you and can you repair my 2004 mercedes ml500 radio?? I have the low fm volume problem, everything else works fine. Thanks
Thank you *so* much. Finally!! I found the answer to getting my audio back! I've been looking *everywhere*, trying to avoid paying to fix this. My CD changer was the problem in mine, too. Is there an option to add an auxiliary to the loop? My car doesn't have an auxiliary input that I've found.
I have a c class 2012 all the radio functions work except when I turn up and down the volume there is no sound from the speakers, I did a circuit check and it tells me that loudspeakers open, you have a video related to that case.
I have w203 and regular mercedes cd player in it. Bose only speakers and amplifire. Also have mobile Nokia connection. I buy command 2.0 for w203 and clk, orginal parts. But when i connect command 2.0 i have no sound but unit have power. Please help me.
In theory. But on each component disconnected, you must make a looping fiber optic connection on each component not being used. They're all still getting power, so if they don't read a signal, it'll tell your head unit something is wrong. I'm not 100% sure this will work, but I'm 90% sure... Lol. Try just running it to the amp first and see if that works, if not then do the looping trick. It's a plug that goes into the inputs from the optics that loop back into the other slot beside it. It's used to bypass that component like the Tele, Disc-changer, or the amp itself.
Hi. Can someone advise how to connect the BE 6094 radio to a Mercedes ML that does not have an optical network. After switching on, the radio will display the logo and then turn off. Well thank you.
I bought that coupler and loop. I'm going to try both. I have. O sound in my cayenne 04. I replace the stereo and I have. No sound. Checking several videos . And all of them say is the cd changer. Fingers crossed
Im trying to figure out my buddy's.. the only sound i get is a thumping sound out all the speakers.. ive changed the amp, ive changed head units and still same thing
did you ever find out what was wrong with the radio. I am having the same problem with this android video player. I was told I need a can bus decorder for my boss system
My CD changer blinked inside bot not on the cable. Does this mean my CD changer is bad? Also my amp doesn't blink at all. But I read that if this happens it's whatever is before it in the loop. Is this true?
Would be a good video, but he does not reply to any questions. I have a 2012 SL63 with the Harmon Kardon system. Just 6 months ago my sound started going out. After my car sits for 24hr the sound usually comes back. Took it to the dealership and they said the amp was over heating, but that was a lie. I can turn my stereo on and the sound will go out in seconds. Then sometimes it will play for days and never go out. Sometimes I cab play it loud and it will go out. Really is confusing and I can’t trust Fletcher Jones Mercedes in Las Vegas because they always try to fix things that don’t need replacement.
The fiber optic in the radio blinks. Should the fiber optic blink at the amp?? I have fiber optic signal to the amp but nothing out?? I have nothing at the CD changer but when I try to eject the cassette the radio power down and then back up?? I disconnected it and used the coupler to bypass it..
Bob, good morning, Trying to find where the amp is on my 08 Mercedes Benz CLK 350 Cabriolet. Checked all the fuses everything is good, but the SAT and sound icons are missing and there is no sound. Everything is on Navigation map all working no sound. The amp is the last fuse I need to check. Need the location. Do you have a video for CLK 350?
My W210 has got problem with intermittent echo sound, Audio shop ask if my vehicle has amplifier behind? I see some comment on MB forum that it is about the grounding issue, and found some filter at aftermarket at ebay. I'm not sure if it is the amplifier problem, my vehicle has be replaced by Pioneer DVD head, removed the CD changer, but keep the BOSE OEM amplifier.
So this also shows that if the radio or amp don’t “flash back” then there’s an issue with those devices. Awesome video will try this on a ML500 Designo edition
My aftermarket stereo in my 2005 s500 is draining the battery. I'm told it's has to do with my fiber optics... The by-pass by Alvin doesn't support Bose????
Hello - great channel! i have a 2000 ML320 and the volume level when turning the volume knob, will not respond properly. for example when rotating CW, you have to turn sometimes 4-5 rotations and then will raise abruptly; have you seen this problem?? Thanks.
I do have a question for my 2000 s500. It has the CD changer, the radio, the amp and the phone module. I removed phone module. And now no sound. From what I gathered id take the light out of the plug that went into cell module put those in a coupler and I should get sound back correct? I've already got on star and made cell module inactive so I'm thinking I just need to do the coupler from the module i removed. I also have a language module do i still need that since i disconnecting the cell phone module
Any one know or can advise me on how to watch a youtube or read directions showing how to removal the 6cd player frame the rear luggage compartment on the MB SL550 2008
Do the sound signals go trough this cable? I have a mercedes w203 with bose. Are trying to replace the original cd-player with a 2din. But i can't get any sound..
Question Does the CD CHANGER still need power when you bypass it ?? If you bypass the CD CHANGER does it still have to have the power supply connected ?
Hi I Have a 2002 S430 I am getting the red light on the radio and on the amp and also through the optical cords but still no sound any suggestions?I would appreciate it thank you
If you never figured it out is going to be the telephone module under rear passenger side the fiber optic lines run from the back of the head unit to the amp to the cd charger to the rear telephone antenna signal amplifier and telephone module back to the head unit. Your welcome! You can remove everything and just leave the amp and the head unit that will solve everybody's problem...
On my 2001 s500 the problem a have and it doesn't happen often but I can be listening to the radio and out of no where I loose sound then I have to turn the car off let it sit for a while and the sound will be back. Any idea what that can be?
I did as suggested in the video. Had a quick ? When looking for the lights to come on each unit I notice the light on wire itself comes on first then the light on unit comes on after. My main issue is stereos sound cones on and odf.
Thanks for the great video! What should I do if I want to replace the stereo itself? What to do between Bose amp and the new stereo with no fibre optic?
Thank you for the video. My CD changer had been removed when I bought my ML350 from an auction. The fiber optic connector under the passenger seat does not blink at all. Can I still try the by-pass?
Hi there! I'm currently experiencing the same problem with my 2003 mercedes ml350. I was wondering if you ever found a solution to your problem? I'm trying to avoid spending hundreds on a whole new radio. Thanks!
Hey friend, I’ve been having the no sound problem on my Mercedes w203 that has the Bose amplifier. Right off the bat my amp makes a clicking noise. Does that mean that the amplifier need to be replaced? Or should I go ahead and check the fiber optics? Thank you!!!
