In this video we go through a Mercedes SLK 200 that is logging a few faults for fuel trim and the wide band oxygen sensor, after not carrying out our pindrag test its shows that missing one step can be important.
We find some oil in the harness coming from the cam magnets (phasers) which is a typical fault of Mercedes.

I had this issue also. New cam solenoids, the adaptors have special wire that does not allow oil to pas, just a precaution for the future. But unfortunatly i changed the engine wirin harness also and the O2 sensors. That oil will never drain all and because the O2 connectors are at the bottom you will constantly get mixture errors

Yeah for sure, sometimes it can make its way to the ECU aswell!
